"Chuck get the syringe." We all panicked, as I watched Thomas's eyes slowly close. Chuck was back within minutes, holding one of the containers we had used on Alby.
Chuck handed it to Teresa, who pushed it into Thomas's arm as I moved a bit of his hair out of his face, and he tensed up.
She pulled it back out after it emptied, and we all watched him. He was breathing, but he was unconscious, and probably would be for a while like Alby was.
I sat for a minute, watching him breathe, before sitting back on my hands. Teresa was sitting down too, but she was still watching him.
"Maybe Gally's right." One of the boys who had been with Gally before spoke up, as we all looked back. "It can't be a coincidence."
I stood up, about to argue, as the other one spoke. "I'm with Mark." He said it so bravely, while the other one had muttered very shyly.
Gally crossed his arms and looked to us, as Clint cracked. "If- if he didn't do it, then what's the harm in treating him as if he did? I mean, everyone's already gone."
I watched as the rest of the boys slowly gave in, including Jeff, and a few boys who I didn't know the names of. It was only Newt, Chuck, Frypan, Minho, Teresa, and I who hadn't gave in.
"Man." Frypan added, rubbing his head as he slowly gave in, joining their side. I frowned, and watched in defeat. Now, two thirds of them were against us.
"I say we banish him. And whoever wants to go with him. It's the only way to ensure our safety, for everyone who's left." Gally nodded, looking to the ten or so boys standing by him.
"Is that really necessary?" Newt asked, as Gally looked to him, his eyebrows raised. He gestured around him.
"I don't know, Newt. Is it? You tell me." He motioned around the burning Glade, as Newt fell silent, watching Gally. "What do you say? Are you going with him?"
Chuck glanced back to Thomas, and cracked. I knew he didn't want to, but he did it anyways, out of fear, probably. Newt and Minho looked to each other, and I could tell they made up their decisions.
"Are you guys serious?" I asked, looking at all of them. None of the boys would look me directly in the eye for more than a few seconds, none other than Gally. "So many people have died already, we don't need another."
"What if getting rid of Thomas is what stops others from dying?" Jeff asked nervously, as I looked over, my heart breaking. Gally had them ruined.
"We don't even know-"
"We've made up our mind." Gally said, speaking over me as I glanced to him. "Now, I don't really trust you either, but you're not the problem here, so I'm gonna give you a choice."
I watched him silently, my jaw clenched tight. He was persuasive, I will give him that, he somehow managed to convince all these boys that banishing Thomas was the way to go.
"Be banished with them-" He motioned towards Thomas and Teresa; who clearly wasn't going to leave Thomas. "Or stay alive with us."
I sat silent, watching him with so much anger, my fists clenched tight. I didn't answer for about a minute, as Gally smirked. "She's with us."
I looked to Newt, who had spoken, glancing back at me. Gally laughed, as I looked back. "Oh, come on. She can speak for herself." He said, as I frowned. "What's it gonna be? His side, or mine?"
I looked to the ground, clenching my jaw even tighter. I was fighting everything inside of me to not start yelling. It was clear what side I wanted to be on.
