Chapter 24
"I'll take the next customer please," the girl announced through the intercom in he tiny station. I interlocked my fingers with Jai as we walked up towards the girl, a bright smile placed on her lips.
"Hi, we would like to get the tickets to go and see-" I began, but then the girl interrupted, beaming at Jai.
"Aren't you from The Janoskians?" The girl with the pretty blue eyes questioned, flipping her beach blond hair in a flirtatious way. I automatically rolled me eyes, does every girl have to do this?
"Yeah," Jai nodded, unaffected by her flirtatious winks and hair flips that she keeps on doing repeatedly, which gets pretty annoying pretty fast.
"Can I get a signature?" She placed a small piece of paper towards him and a black pen, her eyes widening as Jai wrote his name down. She was probably going to frame it and place it on her wall.
"There you go," Jai smiled at the blue eyed girl, who's name tag read 'Brianna'. I always wanted to meet someone named Brianna, but I didn't want the girl to act like this when I'm right here, like, standing right in front of her.
"Can we please get our movie tickets?" I questioned, rolling my eyes at the dirty look she threw towards me. Seriously, that was all she could think of? No comeback or anything?
"Sure, what movie?" She winked again towards Jai, buffing out her chest a lot more than you would think? Wouldn't you want it to be unnoticeable? Well, how would I know, I don't do those kind of things.
"Horrible Bosses 2," I answered, giving my best fake smile towards the young girl. She returned a fake smile, winking towards Jai once again. "And it there something in your eye?"
"I'm just showing your husband a little appreciation, something that you obviously don't give him," she scoffed, handing us our tickets.
"I'm the one who gets to spend her whole life with him," I grabbed the tickets, handing one to Jai as I stormed off.
"He'll probably divorce you, you don't look like his type. He could do so much better, like, I don't know, me?" Brianna called out, a smirk plastered on that fake face of hers. I turned around to say some sarcastic remark, but Jai's head shook and interlocked my hand with his.
"Babe, it's you and me forever, you know that," he reassured, smiling sweetly at me.
"But-"
"No buts, let's just walk in there like nothing happened. She's just a hater. Haters are going to hate, babe, you can't do anything about it," he squeezed my hand in a reassuring way making me feel slightly better. I nodded, putting a wide smile as I walked into the building.
"Your tickets please?" The tall, probably late thirties man asked us sticking out his hand. Jai handed him the tickets and we watched as he ripped one side off of each of them and then handed them back to us.
"Thanks," I muttered, dragging Jai towards the food stands. I stood in line, Jai beside me, and looked at the menu of the various foods I could get.
We were finally next in line but I still didn't know what to order. I finally decided on a hotdog with french fries and a medium sized coke. The lady handed us our orders, telling us to enjoy our movie as we walked away.
"Do you remember what room it is in?" I questioned, taking a sip of my coke before looking at him expectantly.
"Yeah, B13," he answered, smiling at me. We walked into the room, sitting in the way back so people wouldn't recognize Jai and I didn't have to argue.
The movie started, and I continuously laughed since it was just so funny. I felt a pair of eyes on my and I suddenly felt insecure, like my laugh wasn't good. I looked at Jai who was staring down at me, smiling but he wasn't showing his teeth. I quirked up my eyebrow in a questioning way but he just shook his head and began facing the screen. i shrugged, looking at the screen myself.

We walked out of the theater, hand in hand, with numerous curious looks at Jai and me but I just ignored them. I suddenly remembered about the look Jai gave me in the theater.
"Jai?" I looked up at him and he looked down at me.
"Yeah?" He motioned for me to continue and so I did.
"Why did you look at me that way? In the theater," I asked, stopping our nighttime stroll to our car.
"Well, because your laugh is really cute and I love your laugh, I never want you to stop laughing. Or smiling for that matter. Anyways, that isn't the point, the point is the way I looked at you back there was because I love you. And I always will, no matter what. Your my everything, and I can't live without my everything. One of the reasons I married you was because I felt this strange connection when we met, like it was telling me that we were met for each other. That my heart belonged with you and nobody else. We are forever and ever, and nothing could change that."
"Forever?" I questioned.
"Forever," he answered, giving me a sweet kiss on the end.
"To be honest, I never thought you could come up with a speech like that but I guess it's just a Christmas miracle."
"You know what's my miracle?" I gave him a questioning look, telling him to continue. "You are and always will be."
Blush crept onto my cheeks. This wasn't how the night was supposed to go, but I love it how it is. Knowing that Jai and I are forever just makes my heart melt.
