Chapter 10~Shoping trip!

Sans Pov

Me and Papyrus were waiting at the shoping mall at the capital. Mettaton  had said we all needed a makeover so here we were in this overly crowded MTT mall. Stupid robot. The mall was too crowded, more so than usual. There were parents dragging their children out of toy shops as their child screamed about wanting to buy something. Some monsters were walking and talking in large groups, laughing loudly. It was all common for a mall

Soon I noticed all our friends walking into the mall. Undyne and Alphys talking, most likely about anime considering how enthusiastic Alphys was, weeb. Frisk, Chara, Toriel and Asriel were walking together, Frisk ruffling up Asriel's fur and Asriel screaming for Chara to help, which she only snickered, Great the demons are here. Mettaton sashayed into the mall wearing his over the top pink fur coat with star shaped Sunglasses, this created a huge scene in the mall as his fans ran up to him to get autographs and take pictures, Attention hogger. All the monster fans walked off after Mettaton shooed them away. They all aproached us.

"Oh my did we keep you all waiting?" Toriel asked politely.

"Nah its ok we wern't waiting that long," I replied.

"Mettaton its so good to see you!" Papyrus said cheerfully. I rolled my eyes. I hated Paps being with that self centered pig he deserves better!

"Sans you ok?" Chara asked. I blinked. I must have been looking at Paps and Mettaton weirdly because now everyone was staring at me.

"Yeah i'm fine, so are we just gonna sit here talking or are we actually gonna go somewhere?"I asked changing the topic

"Ah yes, come along darlings and let's go shopping!" Mettaton said over dramatically as he usually would.

We all went our seperate ways as some of us wanted to buy diffrent things. Me and Papyrus followed Toriel and her family to the clothing store. Sadly the pink tin can followed. While they were talking, I gazed at the shop window then while passing one I took a step back, startled, I looked like-

"Sans, brother hurry!" Papyrus called after me. I quickly followed.

We all stopped outside a MTT brand shop ofcourse. When we entered we were all immideatly hit with a wave of pink light. Once we could see again we all saw rows and rows of MTT brand clothes, most of which were pink and very revealing. I sighed. While the others all walked around the shop buying looking at the clothes I stared out of the shop to see another clothing store accross from us. I looked back and saw that most of them were busy buying clothes so I thought I would just hop over to the other clothing shop to see if I wanna get anything and come right back. Just before I could step out of the damn shop I heard a robotic voice ask, " Where are you going darling?" I cringed.

"To the shop across. Tell Paps where I am will ya," I said while walking out.

"Why would you want to go to another shop when you can buy something at My shop?" He asked as if it made absolutely no sense. Just then something inside me clicked.

"Well I don't know maybe because not everyone wants to wear bright pink revealing shit?" I said turning to face him. Mettaton blinked, mouth wide. I walked off after that.

I went to the other clothing shop and sighed in relif to see that this one was not blinding pink. I was walking around for a bit looking for some clothes when I got a message from paps,

Sans please meet us at the restarunt outside of the mall once you are done buying your clothes

Ok bro

Also Sans why did you snap at Mettaton

I put my phone on silent mode and shoved it into my pocket. Ofcourse he would complain stupid trash didn't know how to keep its mouth shut. I sighed and continued to walk around the shop. Soon I walked out carrying a bag which had 3 new jackets and a few new shirts and pants. I decided to pay a visit to a shoe shop to get a new pair of sneakers before going to the restarunt we had aggred to meet up at. Again an MTT shop, CAN'T I ESCAPE THIS STUPID TIN CAN! I dragged my feet into the establishment and surprisingly I was the first one there. I decided to be usefull for once and get a seat for all of us. I sat there for a few minutes and scrolled through the undernet. Getting multiple calls from paps which I ignored. No doubt it was about the peice of trash.

I had to wait another hour before my friends enterned the restarunt. They were each carrying arm loads of bags all MTT brand except for Alphys and Undyne who were carrying things mostly from anime gift shops. Weebs.

"Sans! I see you have gotten us a seat! Thank you brother!" Papyrus said cheerfully.

"Also why didn't you answer your phone?" He asked as he sat down, placing the bags on the floor.

"Eh, phone died," I lied. I was too tired to deal with this shit.

They all sat down and began to oder food. I let my self relax as their conversations floated above me. Just then I felt a hand on my shoulder and when I turned around I saw Toriel looking at me.

"Sans dear are you feeling alright you are not acting like yourself today. You haven't cracked a single pun and it was very unlike you too snap at someone, especially your friends," Toriel said in her kind voice.

"CAN WE JUST DROP THE DAMN SUBJECT OF ME SNAPPING AT METTATON!" I snaped, slaming my hands against the table, making everyone gasp.

"Young man that is not how you will speak to me!" Toriel snaped back.

"SO WHAT YOU AREN'T MY  MOTHER!" I screamed, the entire restarunt went silent.

"I may not be your mother but I am you queen and you will respect me as such!" Toriel said eyes starting to glow. Toriel was not the type to bring up her title often but when she did everyone knew she was serious.

"S-sans calm down," Chara said grabing my arm. I glared at her. Chara  let go of my arm and stared at me fear visible in her ruby rose eyes. I teleported out of the shop and back to my house glaring at the celing of my room as if it had commited the greatest sin in the world.

Chara pov

"S-sans calm down," I stutered as I grabbed my best friends arm. He glared back at me his eyes glowed a bloody red colour. I let go of his arm and looked at him. I could feel fear in my eyes when I did. Sans then teleported away.

"Tsk such rude behaviour," Mom scoffed.

"I-it isn't like my brother to act like that. I am so sorry Queen Toriel," Papyrus apologised. Mom sighed

"It's fine dear. I am just worried that's all, it's not like him to snap like that," Mom said a kind look coming back to her face.

"Yeah what's gotten into the punk did he not get enough sleep or something?" Undyne asked.

"No, I don't know he has been acting like that since yesterday," Papyrus said.

I stayed quite this entire time. My mind raced as memories when we were kids came flooding back like a torrent. I looked over to Asriel and it seemed that he had the same idea as me. There was only one explanation as to why Sans was acting the way he did and nither me nor Asriel liked it. Nightmare is back...

I will not be discontinuing this book as I still am determined to continue it.
