A couple days later, it was Monday morning. Claire woke up and got ready for school. As she got dressed, she thought about what Sarah said and realized that she was right. She shouldn't care what others think. Hayley changed into a white top and pink poodle skirt. She put her hair up in a ponytail and put on a pair of black flats.

Once she finished getting ready, Claire picked up her backpack and headed downstairs. "Morning Dad." She said as she walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning, sweetheart." Steve greeted her. Hayley took a bowl out of the cabinet, poured cereal and milk into it and sat at the table. "How are you this morning?" Steve asked.
"I'm doing good." Claire replied. "What about you."
"I'm doing good as well." Steve said. Claire nodded. "Today will be your last day at school." Steve said. "I'm going to talk to the principal and let him know that you're going to be homeschooled."
"Ok." Claire said.
After they finished eating, they both headed outside to Steve's motorcycle. They headed to the school. When they got there, Steve parked in a spot. "I'll see you later, Claire." He said.
"Bye Dad." Claire said. She walked into the school. She went Courtney's locker.
"Back to wearing costumes, I see." Courtney said.
Claire ignored the comment. "I'm sorry I tried to attack you last week." She said.
"Whatever. You're still a psycho freak." Courtney said. "You're lucky my parents aren't pressing charges." Courtney walked away. Claire walked to her locker.
"Are you ok?" Sarah asked, coming up to Claire.
"Yeah. I'm fine." Claire said.
"What happened last week?" Sarah asked.
Claire looked around. "Follow me." She said. Claire and Sarah walked into a bathroom. Claire made sure they were the only ones there.
"So?" Sarah asked.
"The people that kidnapped me, they did something to me." Claire said.
"What do you mean?" Sarah asked.
"They did something to me to cause me to freak out and become violent when I hear certain words." Claire said. "Like when Courtney said that word."
"Well, I'm glad you're ok." Sarah said.
"I know we just met, but I feel like I should tell you this." Claire said.
"What?" Sarah asked.
"Today's my last day here." Claire said.
"At school?" Sarah asked.
"After what happened last week, my Dad thinks it would be better for me to be homeschooled." Claire said.
