"So, basically everybody's dead?" Kazooie questioned, forgetting Kirby's just a baby for a moment. Kirby just frowned, looking down at the ground.
"Kazooie! You didn't need to be so...blatant about it," Banjo said, giving her a look.
"What?" Kazooie questioned, "I'm just asking."
Joker frowned deeply before looking at the puffball, and asked, "Are you alright, Kirby?"
"Poyo," Kirby answered, "Mwiss evewyone."
Joker nodded, "I know, that must hurt terribly." Kirby nodded and hugged Joker. Joker hugged the younger back, feeling sympathetic for them.
"Kazooie, they're just a kid!" Banjo exclaimed to his friend, more upset than anything.
Kazooie sighed, looking at the upset puffball and said, "I'm sorry, Kirby."
Kirby looked at Kazooie and gave a sad smile, "Poyo, poy.."
"I'm guessing that means you're forgiven," Joker said with a chuckle. Piranha Plant(who has been there the entire time, I swear-) nodded slightly. Kazooie smiled slightly before sighing and re-entering the backpack completely. Joker frowned and asked, "How does she do that?"
"I...honestly don't know," Banjo told him, scratching the back of his head. Joker nodded with a frown. The bear then said, "I'm really sorry about that."
Joker shook his head, "Not your fault. Besides, Kirby forgives easily." He sighed a little bit, "I just hope we can fix this 'light situation' we have soon."
Banjo nodded in agreement, "I do too..."
