I walked out of my classroom and made my way to the nurse's office.

On my way there, I saw Clarissa everywhere.

I saw her in bathrooms, lingering around the corners of the hallways, and even in the faces of some students that had passed me in the hallway. I guess they were late to class, or just school in general.

Wait....I was seeing Clarissa in the faces of students?

Oh no.

That's really bad.

When I got to the nurse's office, I immediately looked at her face.

She looked normal, with those blonde, curly locks and green eyes.

Good. She didn't look like Clarissa.

I sat down on a bed. She was typing something in her computer and she looked over at me.

"Kori Kazumi, is it?" She asked.

I nodded.

"So why are you here?"

"I was seeing things and my teacher sent me here to rest." I replied.

I mean, it was 50/50 right and wrong. Technically I was seeing things, but also not, as she appeared only to me.

I laid my backpack down next to me, laid down in the bed, and got in a comfortable position.

I guess I was tired like I had been earlier this morning, because before I knew it, I fell asleep.
KORI'S DREAM
"Kori, you're cute."

"How?"

I was talking to Clarissa in this dream. We were in a dark place. An alleyway, I'm assuming.

"You think you can actually ignore me. That's cute. I'm a ghost, and until you find my baby, I'll be everywhere you go....unless I kill you." She said.

I just nodded and crossed my arms.

"I already told you I'd help you find your baby and I promised you, so why don't you get off my back and be invisible like you were when I first ran into you and when you barely bothered me." I said as I walked away, leaving Clarissa behind in the alleyway.

That was when I woke up, and it was to the nurse shaking me awake.

"Kori, it's lunch time." She said.

"Can I eat here?" I asked.

The nurse looked confused.

"Why?"

I looked over to see Clarissa sitting behind the nurse in a chair.

"I'm still seeing things." I said.

The nurse nodded.

"Okay, sure."

I pulled my lunchbox out of my backpack and started eating. When I finished, I zipped up my lunchbox, put my lunchbox back in my backpack, and zipped my backpack up.

And just like before, I once again laid down on the bed and went to sleep.
**************
When I woke up, it was to the school bell ringing.

I had slept in to the end of the school day. Does that even happen?

Well, at least it was Friday.

I turned in my bed, put my feet to the floor, grabbed my backpack, and slung it around my shoulders as I got up.

"Oh, you're finally awake. I guess you needed the nap." The nurse said from her desk.

"Yeah. See ya." I said. I was about to walk out when she looked at me.

It was Clarissa, but it didn't sound like her.

"No...! No!"

The nurse got up from her seat and walked over to me.

"No what, Kori? Is everything alright?" She asked. She was about to put her hands on my shoulders when I whacked them away.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" I yelled as I ran out of the nurse's office.

I ran out of the already empty school and ran all the way to the entrance. I began running out of the school's gates but was stopped when I heard my friends call out to me.

"What's the matter? You don't look so good, dude." Yuki said.

"Yeah. You look really sweaty and like you just saw a ghost." Neon said as she put her hand on my forehead.

"Technically, I DID just see a ghost!" I thought.

Neon took her hand off my forehead.

"You don't feel hot, but you seem on edge." She said.

"Yeah, Kori. You look outta breath. What happened in there?" Kira asked.

Yuki crossed his arms.

"You better tell us what happened so we can help out or you're grounded, young man." He said with a stern look on his face.

We all just looked at him. Noticing our looks, Yuki uncrossed his arms.

"What?" He asked.

"You really are the Mom friend." Kira said.

"This again? Look, I already know about this. You guys tell me this all the time." Yuki said.

"Yeah, but it's because you are the Mom in this friend group." Kira said.

While they were arguing, I started to tip toe away from them.

When I was far enough away from them, I took off.

I started running through the streets, but had to slow down to catch my breath.

While walking my way home, I noticed everyone I had seen-well, almost everyone-had Clarissa's face.

They didn't look like her, but they wore her face, just like the nurse.

That would explain why the nurse sounded like herself and not Clarissa.

Am I denying that this was creepy?

Not at all, as it was very petrifying. I started running home to avoid all of this, in fact.

When I got home, I ran to my room, put my backpack against the wall, and jumped on my bed, burying my face in my pillow.

"Kori, do you see what you'll have to go through now?" A familiar voice asked.

"Yes, and I get it!" I said.

"I didn't hear that. The pillow muffled your voice."

I lifted my head up from my pillow and looked at her.

"I said I get it! I'll help you when I can, okay!?" I said.

"Very well. See you later."

With that, Clarissa disappeared.
***************
It was time for work now. I had gotten dressed and was already near the front door when Akane came up to me.

Except she had the face and voice of Clarissa.

"See ya, big brother!"

I had no idea if this was the real Akane or not, so I didn't say a word, walked out the door, and once out, I ran to work.

When I arrived, it was nearly empty with some costumers sitting in some seats and eating.

I walked behind the counter and stood behind it as a cashier.

When a costumer walked up to me and ordered, I asked for their name.

But when they looked up, I saw the face of Clarissa looking back at me.
