Y/N Pov
It's finally happening today! I'm about to meet Abrahams parents. It's crazy to think that we actually met on the set of All American, where I play his love interest. From the moment we met, we just clicked. We would always have a blast goofing around on set. And then, out of the blue, he asked for my number. We started texting, then talking on the phone, and before we knew it, we were FaceTiming day and night. We would talk for hours, sometimes even falling asleep on the phone. And then, the flirting began.Da'Vinchi🥰
Good morning Gorgeous💕YNN💍
Good morning Handsome🌞It was like a natural progression for us. And then, he finally asked me out.
As I reached for a muffin on the table, I heard a familiar voice behind me saying, "Hey Beautiful." I turned around, already knowing who it was. It was Abraham, with his handsome face and charming smile. He pulled me into a quick hug, and we began walking back towards the set.
"How you feeling today?" he asked, genuinely interested.
"Pretty good, but it just got so much better," I replied with a smile. "Oh, is it because you missed me and now I'm in your presence?" he teased, laughing.
"No boy. It's because this muffin is absolutely amazing," I said, taking a bite and savoring the delicious flavor.
"Damn, alright then," he said, playfully putting his head down. "I was just kidding. You know I missed you," I reassured him, wrapping my arms around his waist as he wrapped his around my shoulders, embracing me tightly.
"Aww, I thought I was going to have to put the smack down on you," he joked, laughing.
"Boy, I will fold you like origami," I playfully threatened, tossing the muffin wrapper into the garbage can as we walked past it.
"Girl, I'll put your little fine ass in the garbage can," he nudged me with his elbow, teasingly.
"Yeah, okay," I laughed, feeling my cheeks flush from the compliment he gave me.
As we settled down on the couch together, he turned to me and asked, "So, what's your plan for tonight?" I glanced at him and replied, "I think I'll just head home and watch some movies."
Suddenly, he suggested, "How about we go out for dinner instead? Let's spice up your night." His hand gently rested on my thigh as he spoke.
A mischievous smile played on my lips as I asked, "Are you asking me out on a date?" I couldn't help but playfully toy with his fingers.
He responded with a light tone, "Only if you accept."
With a smile, I looked into his eyes and said, "Then I accept." His face lit up with joy, and he declared, "Well, it's official. We're going on a date tonight." just as the director called for our scene to begin.
We had an amazing time. In fact, we went on many more dates after that, and eventually, he asked me to be his girlfriend.
We dated for a few months, and now the time had come for him to introduce me to his parents. I was incredibly nervous, filled with countless questions and possibilities swirling in my mind. What if they didn't like me? What if they thought I wasn't the right person for their son? The anticipation was overwhelming, and I felt like I was about to explode.
We arrived at his house and he released his hand from my thigh to remove the key from the ignition. "Ready?" he asked, reaching for my hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Absolutely," I replied as he exited the car and hurriedly made his way to my side to open the door for me. Stepping out, he closed the door behind me and intertwined his fingers with mine.
Together, we made our way up to his front porch. He knocked on the door and after a brief moment, a stunning woman answered. "Oh, my baby," she exclaimed, pulling him into a warm embrace. "Hey, momma," he greeted, returning the hug with equal affection.
They separated, and she turned her attention to me. "Hi, baby. You must be Y/N, Abraham's girlfriend. I'm Janet, his momma," she introduced herself, enveloping me in a loving hug. "Yes, I am. And may I just say, you are a truly beautiful woman," I complimented sincerely. "Thank you. And you are equally beautiful. Abraham, I like her," she playfully poked his shoulder. "Oh, Lord, where are my manners? Come on in," she gestured, opening the door wider.
"This house is absolutely stunning," I remarked, admiring the interior. "Oh, son, you've found yourself a girl who knows good interior design? You better hold on to her," she teased, winking at Abraham as I blushed and chuckled. "I am, momma. Trust me," he affirmed, wrapping his arms around me from behind and planting a gentle kiss on my cheek.
Abraham's dad came home from work and after meeting me and we all sat down to talk. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, as if we had known each other for years. Abraham's dad, a kind and jovial man, looked at me with genuine curiosity and asked, "So, if you weren't pursuing acting, what would you be doing?"
I paused for a moment, contemplating my response. "I would be in college, working towards my degree in psychology," I replied with a smile. "I've always been fascinated by the human mind and helping others understand themselves better."
Abraham's dad chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I like this girl," he said, nodding approvingly. "She's not afraid of hard work and has a passion for making a difference. You better keep her, son."
His words filled me with a sense of pride and warmth. It was clear that Abraham's dad saw something in me that resonated with his own values. We continued chatting, effortlessly transitioning from one topic to another. The conversation flowed naturally.
As the aroma of a delicious home-cooked meal filled the air, we all gathered around the dining table. We savored each bite, sharing stories and laughter.
After dinner, Abraham's mom, a gentle and nurturing woman, invited me to sit beside her on the couch. She pulled out a photo album filled with baby pictures of Abraham. We laughed at his adorable antics and marveled at how quickly time had flown by. It was heartwarming to witness the love and pride in his parents' eyes as they reminisced about his childhood.
In the end, it was clear that Abraham's parents had truly embraced me as a part of their family. We exchanged heartfelt goodbyes, promising to see each other again soon. As we drove away, Abraham reached for my hand and squeezed it gently.
"See, that wasn't so bad, was it?" he said, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "I knew they would like you because I love you."
I was taken aback by his confession, my heart swelling with love and happiness. I leaned over and kissed him, feeling the warmth of his lips against mine. "I love you too," I whispered, my voice filled with sincerity.
