Cash's pov
"So Cash, how did you and YN cross paths?" Wendy asked, her voice carrying curiosity.
Cash chuckled softly, reminiscing. "Well, I was just scrolling through Instagram one day, you know, checking out the explore page. And then I see this picture of her, and I was like, 'Wow, she is absolutely gorgeous.' So, naturally, I went to her profile, started liking her pictures, watching her videos..."
The audience chuckled along with Cash, the genuine excitement in his voice palpable as he recalled those initial moments of intrigue.
"And then, like fate or something, she followed me back a couple of hours later," Cash continued, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I started liking her stuff, and then, lo and behold, I started getting notifications that she was liking mine. It was like, okay, maybe there's something here."
Wendy nodded encouragingly, her interest piqued by the unfolding romance.
"So, I decided to make a move," Cash said, his expression turning thoughtful. "I commented on one of her pictures, just telling her how beautiful she looked. You know how it goes from there—suddenly, everyone's shipping us, making edits with our names together..."
The audience responded with knowing laughs, clearly familiar with the excitement of internet relationships blossoming into something more.
"And then, I finally took the plunge and DM'ed her," Cash continued, a grin spreading across his face at the memory. "I told her she was beautiful and that I wanted to get to know her better. And you know what? She replied. Said she thought I was handsome too."
The crowd let out an 'aww,' their support and enthusiasm palpable in the room.
"We DM'ed back and forth for a few days," Cash went on, his voice filled with warmth. "And then we decided to meet up at a café near her place. From that day on, we just clicked. And here we are, three years later, still going strong. She's still my baby."
The audience erupted into applause, and Cash couldn't help but smile, feeling grateful for the journey that brought him and YN together. As he glanced up at the big screen behind Wendy, where a photo of him and YN was displayed, he knew their love story had captivated not just their hearts but also those of their fans.
"Yeah," Cash said, a mixture of pride and affection in his voice. "That's how it all started, and I wouldn't change a thing."
"So what's it like dating her? You know how exes are when they see the person they used to date getting big and everything; they like to spill tea. And her ex, Algee, posted that she was the worst girlfriend he's ever had and a lot of other stuff. So can you tell me what it's like being the boyfriend of YN YLN?" Wendy's question cut through the air, her tone gentle yet probing.
"Well, people sometimes get upset when they see their ex doing better than them," Cash began thoughtfully, his expression calm. "I don't have any beef or hard feelings towards him, but it's like, if she's not your girl anymore, why are you still bringing her up?"
He paused briefly, gathering his thoughts before continuing, his voice tinged with sincerity. "To answer your question about what she's like... It's like, I wouldn't be with her if I didn't want a best friend, a girlfriend, and a wife in the same person, you know?"
Cash leaned forward slightly, his eyes locking with Wendy's as he spoke from the heart. "She's the perfect mix of all of that. She's someone I can laugh and goof around with like a best friend, kiss, hug, and cuddle with, and tell my deepest, darkest secrets to like a girlfriend. We can argue and fight like a married couple, and she's not afraid to put me in my place when I start doing too much," he spoke as the audience laughed.
He took a moment to emphasize his point, his tone unwavering. "So when I heard that he was talking smack on her name, I'm like, 'What did you do to cause her to act like this?' Even if she did... I don't know, I wasn't there. But like, 'What did you do to make her act out of her character?' You feel me?"
Cash's gaze softened as he reflected on YN's character. "Because when you meet her, she's such a down-to-earth person. She doesn't let stuff get to her, like, at all. It takes a lot for her to act out of character. It has to be some real disrespect and terrible stuff going on to make her act like that."
He leaned back, his demeanor confident yet earnest. "We've been together for three years, and I've only seen her act like that once. And that was only when she was being disrespected or when someone was disrespecting me."
Cash's expression grew more impassioned as he continued. "So you can't ruin her reputation for something that you put her through. If you treat your girl right and do everything you're supposed to do in a relationship, your girl is going to be happy. You know that saying, 'Happy wife, happy life'? If you do everything in your power to keep your girl happy, she's going to do everything in her power to keep you happy."
Wendy nodded in understanding, her admiration for Cash evident. "So that's my take on it," Cash concluded, a sense of conviction in his voice. "My girl has been the most amazing girl I've ever been with. In three years with a person, so much can happen. Me and her? We're good on a regular basis. That's my baby, and I am really going to marry her one day. I talk future stuff with her because she's the one for me. I genuinely can't see myself with anybody else if it's not her."
The crowd erupted into cheers, their support for Cash's heartfelt declaration echoing through the room. Wendy, visibly moved, dabbed at her eyes with a tissue.
"Gosh, I'm sorry for the tears," Wendy chuckled, her voice emotional. "It's just that... You can really see the love and respect that you have for her. I've been around her for a while and talked to her about her past relationships and everything. To hear that you keep her so steady and so happy makes me so, so happy that she's found someone like you."
Wendy stood up, moved by the moment, and gave Cash a hug, which he warmly returned.
"As a second mom to her, I thank you for bringing her out of her shell and bringing the light back into her eyes," Wendy said sincerely, sitting back down on the couch, her smile radiant.
"When's the wedding?" Wendy teased playfully.
"Well, I gotta propose first," Cash laughed, the tension easing in the room.
"Do you plan on it any time soon?" Wendy smirked, her eyes twinkling with curiosity.
"It's in the works," Cash replied with a grin, the crowd erupting in cheers once again.
"Well, hopefully, she's watching," Wendy said, her tone lighthearted.
"I hope she is. Hey, baby," Cash waved at the main camera, his expression affectionate, causing the audience and Wendy to laugh along.
"So, Cash, how are you liking your new NBA team?" Wendy asked, shifting gears smoothly, her professionalism back in place."Well-"
