"So, you not gonna come see me?" Anthony asked through the phone.

Anthony and Genesis were talking on FaceTime. She had finished her classes for today and she had just gonna come home.

Genesis sighed. "Ant. I'm tired." She whined. "And I still have to study."

Genesis majored in health studies and she was working towards nursing. After she graduated high school, she took a year off so she was a little behind. She had to make sure she passed all of her classes with B or higher so she could get into her nursing class.

Anthony sucked how teeth. "You could sleep over here and you can also study over here." He told her.

"Ant. You're gonna distract me." She told him as she walked to her room, tossing her bag in her chair.

Anthony sighed, running his hand over his face. "Aight."

"Are you mad?" She asked softly, noticing the look on his face.

"Nah." He shook his head. "Imma talk to you later though." He said causing her to frown.

"See. You are mad." She sighed.

"Nope." He shook his head. "You said you were tired and you said you needed to study. I'm trying to respect that." He said. "Don't wanna distract you."

"Anthony-."

"I'll talk to you later, shorty." He said, hanging up the phone.

Genesis rolled her eyes, throwing her phone on her bed. She sighed plopping down on her bed, reaching into her bag, grabbing her laptop so she could do her work.

A couple of hours went by and Genesis had finished her work. She grabbed her phone, checking to see if there was a message from Anthony but there wasn't.

She sighed deeply, placing her AirPods in her ears as she FaceTimed him.

The phone rang but he didn't answer.

Genesis twisted her lips to the side, thinking before she got up off her bed. She decided to pack an overnight bag.

It took her about 15 minutes to pack a bag. She glanced around her room, making sure she had everything.

She made sure she had her phone and MacBook charger. She made sure she had all her work she needed to bring to class the next day. She made sure she had her toothbrush, her thing for her skin routine and she made sure she had a good amount of clothes for however long she wanted to stay.

Grabbing her car keys, she left her room and exited her home.

Getting in her car, she headed towards Anthony's place.
