Same day
Aaron quickly got up, walking to Anthony's bedroom. He knocked on the door, waking Genesis.
"Yo, Genesis." He tried to whisper at a tone where she could still hear him. "You decent?"
Genesis groaned, getting out of bed. She was wearing one of Anthony's shirts. She walked around his room, heading towards his dresser. Grabbing a pair of his boxers, she threw them on.
"Come in."
Aaron walked in, quickly closing the door behind him and locking it. Genesis scrunched her eyebrows together as she sat on the bed.
"Why did you lock the door?"
Before Aaron could answer, an argument had begun in the living room. Both parties were loud.
"Where is he?!" The woman yelled. "Where is my son?"
"Don't worry about it!" Anthony's voice boomed through the apartment.
"You can't keep my child from me!"
"My brother doesn't want to be with y'all." Anthony replied.
"So what! I'm his mother and-."
"Then act like it!" Anthony cut her off harshly.
His tone was shocking to Genesis, to say the least.
She's never heard or seen him like this before.
"My brother shouldn't have showed at my doorstep late at night crying about you and your husband's shitty ass parenting skills."
Not giving his mother a chance to talk, Anthony continued speaking.
"You would rather keep your son in a predatory environment then to have your image ruined. You and dad don't care about anyone but yourselves." Anthony scoffed. "And then you throw money at your kids as if that can fix all the emotional damage you've done."
His mother scoffed. "He was lying-."
"Get out." Anthony interrupted her.
"Excuse me?"
"Get out of my house." He spoke, waking to the door and opening.
"Anthony, I am your mother and-."
"Get out!" He resided his voice a little louder, making her jump.
"I'll be back." She muttered, walking out of the door.
Anthony slammed the door, locking it before walking over to the couch. He let out a deep sigh, burying his face in his hands.
Meanwhile Genesis was about to get up and go talk to him.
"Wait." Aaron stopped her. "I think I should be the one to talk him."
Genesis nodded.

One Week Later
December 31st
New Years Eve
It's been a week since Genesis and Anthony spoke to each other. After Aaron spoke with him, it didn't necessarily end well. And then Genesis tried speaking and that didn't necessarily end well either.
