Genesis was walking out of school, searching for Anthony's car. He was picking her up today.
She hadn't seen him in a couple of days, so she was a little excited to see him today.
Spotting his car, she smiled softly as she started walking towards it.
"Hey, Gen." She heard someone speak from the right of her.
Turning her head, she rolled her eyes at the sight of the man in front of her.
It was Darren, her ex boyfriend.
Genesis kept walking, ignoring him.
"Gen. I just wanna talk."
"Well. I don't wanna talk to you." She mumbled as she continued walking to Anthony's car.
It's been almost a year since she had talked to him. And she planned on keeping it that way.
"Wait. Hold on Genesis." Darren grabbed her arm, causing her to stop. Genesis snatched her arm away, frowning at him.
"Don't fucking touch me." She gritted, looking at him in disgust.
"I heard you got a new man." He said, making Genesis chuckle.
She shook her head, walking away again.
What she was doing and who she was doing it with was none of his concern.
"My number still the same." He yelled as the distance grew more and more between them.
Genesis rolled her eyes.
That was good for him but his number was deleted and blocked a long time ago.
She finally got to Anthony's car, getting in. Once she got in the car, she saw that Anthony was on the phone.
Genesis let out a sigh of relief. She thought maybe the fact that he was on the phone meant he didn't see her exchange with her ex.
Once she was fully in the car, Anthony glanced at her, smirking.
"Nope." He said to whoever he was talking on the phone with. Anthony pointed to his cheek, making Genesis laugh a little.
She leaned up, pressing her lips against his cheek before sitting comfortably in her seat.
"No, ma'am." Anthony said, leaning back in his seat. "I'm not coming."
Genesis look at him curiously, wondering who he was speaking with.
"Because I don't want to." He said. Anthony sighed, leaning his head against his seat as he listened to the other person on the phone.
