"And he's just so fucking rude." I explained to my best friend, Dylan. "Every time he comes into MY place, he doesn't even speak."

Dylan looked at me with a blank expression. "You don't even like the man."

"Yeah and this is one of the reasons why I don't like him." I told her as I ate a French fry. "He's an asshole."

Me and Dylan were on campus, eating lunch. We both attended the University of Houston.

"Girl." She waved her hand at me.

"What?" I frowned.

"I kind of see your point but there's no reason you should be tripping over a nigga who doesn't even acknowledge your presence. Especially since it's a nigga you dislike so much." She pauses, sipping from her water. "Unless..."

"Unless what?" I rose an eyebrow, sipping from a milkshake.

"You wanna fuck him! Don't you?" She grinned in my face making twist my face up.

"Ew. No!" I rolled my eyes. "Never."

"Girl, boo." She waved her hand at me. "That man is fine and you know it."

I pursed my lips. "And what that mean?"

"Girl. You know what it mean." She wiggled her eyebrows at me.

"Psshh." I shook my head. "It's never gonna happen. You can get that out of your head now."

I walked up to car, rolling my eyes. Brent was supposed to pick me up from school today. But he was running late, so someone else had to pick me up.

Usually I drive myself but today I caught a ride from Dylan and she wasn't leaving campus anytime soon.

I got in the car, slamming the door, throwing my bag into the back seat.

"Don't slam my shit." Anthony looked over at me.

I rolled my eyes, putting on my seatbelt, crossing my arms against my chest.

Anthony chuckled, leaning back in his seat.

About 5 minutes passed and we were still sitting in his parked car.

"Are you gonna drive?" I asked.

"Are you gonna fix your fuckin' attitude?" He retorted, looking at me.

I glared at him, not responding.

"Look. I don't give a fuck about yo' attitude, I don't give a fuck about that stupid ass look on your face. And I don't give a fuck that you call yourself not liking me. You're in my car and I'm giving you a ride home when I really don't have to do shit."

"I didn't ask you pick me up." I snapped at him.

"But your cousin did and because that's my brother, I agreed."

"Whatever."

"Bro, do you wanna walk?" He asked as a look of irritation danced across his face. I stayed quiet, looking straight ahead.

"Thought so." He muttered, finally putting his car in drive. He glanced at me, shaking his head.

"Gorgeous as hell. But that attitude is fucking atrocious." He mumbled, causing me to get a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Ignoring that feeling, I kept my arms crossed as I looked out the window.

It took about 15 minutes for us to get to my home. He pulled up in front of the house, putting the car in park.

I grabbed my bag from the backseat as I pulled my keys out of one of the side pockets.

"Thanks." I mumbled, getting out of the car. I closed the door, walking up to my door.

As I was unlocking the door, I noticed that Anthony was still parked outside.

I guess he was waiting until I got inside to drive off.

As I walked inside my home, I heard his car pull off. I closed the door behind me, throwing my bag on the floor.

I sighed, going to the kitchen to grab something to drink as I thought about the interaction between me and Anthony in his car.

Hopefully, I never have to be put in a situation like that again.
