"(Y/N), Marius (Jäger), can you please get me files for Nienke Meijer?" Six asked, typing something on his computer."Where is it?" Marius responded, helping you up from the chair.
"Down in room...201? I don't remember but it's somewhere over in that area."
"Ok, we'll be back soon," You said, smiling at Six and quietly shutting his office door, following behind Marius.
You tucked back a strand of your hair, and crossed your arms, feeling so cold from the facility's air. The skirts didn't help with the chili atmosphere, and you couldn't help but shake sometimes. Marius noticed this and slowed down, waiting for you to catch up with him.
"You look cold."
"You think?" You laughed with him, as he leant you his green jacket, and shielding it over your shoulders.
"Marius, take it back," you held it away, "if anyone sees, they—they'll get suspicious."
"(Y/N), don't be so paranoid!" He chuckled, but you were being serious. Risking your career, and possibly getting into trouble was not a choice.
See, relationships in this headquarter with the operators and team was against the guidelines and rules, unless the couple was already married or in a relationship. This rule meant nothing to you, until Marius came into your life.
Being an assistant, your mind always wanted to avoid breaking these so called rules. But then a part of your mind said 'hell no', and the relationship between Marius and you started to grow. You took quite a first look at him, and in the first few minutes of the first conversation you were hooked.
"Why do you think we can't—you know, have relationships?" The German asked.
"It's because I'm pretty sure because they don't want people to be more heartbroken if an operator...passes away."
"Wait, but they let married couples be allowed to even work?" He made a face, making you stifle a laugh.
"Yeah, I don't know why, the rules are weird here." You saw the room, 201, and swiftly walked inside.
There was just a few small boxes of files, and finding Nienke's should've been quick and easy. You started picking through the top boxes, reading the tabs with intense focus. You bit the side of your cheek, frazzled at none of the files being close to Nienke's name. Marius, was too busy observing a little charm he found on a desk.
"Who do you think this is from?" You looked back, Marius showcasing a cute charm. It seemed to be a girl, long purple hair, and it was such a cute art style.
"I bet, Yumiko (Hibana), looks like some anime thing."
"I don't think so, Yumiko isn't really into things like that." He shrugged and you continued to search, but found nothing.
You bent down, searching the bottom boxes and couldn't find anything from the first row of boxes. You could hear footsteps gather closely around you, and then you stretched down even farther, reaching the very last rows of boxes and nearly tripping. Marius stood behind you, whistling and walking before you felt a slight graze against your lower back.
"Oh, so this is going to happen, huh." You thought, the smirk growing into a mischievous grin.
You stood up straight, placing your hands against your hips and raising an eyebrow at him. He continued to whistle but noticed this and stopped, blushing and laughing nervously.
"What do you want?" You sighed.
"I don't know?"
"Well," you leaned towards him and reassuringly patted his shoulder, "whatever it is you aren't going to get." He smiled slightly, shrugging cooly and going back to observe the little charm that served absolutely no value, Marius just was intrigued.
You then saw the packages up in the very top of the shelves, and with ease you grabbed a chair and started to search through the papers and files again. Ignoring everything and even zoning out any additional sound, you couldn't help but notice Marius getting exceedingly... touchy.
"Marius, get up here and help me already!" You whined.
"Oh ookay sorry! I was to be looking at your..." the rest he mumbled up.
"What was that?"
"Nothing??"
You smirked, and sighed as you walked over to him, your heels clacking against the ground. You placed you arms on his broad shoulders, staring into his eyes seductively. Instead of the bashfulness you were expecting, he leaned in, locking his lips with yours. He pushed you slowly against the table, pulling away, his hot breath tickling your neck. Giggling, you trace your finger down his shirt, but the door opened...
"Verdammt..."
You whipped your head to face the creaking noise, only to see a wide-eyed Italian, holding a mug up to his face. He quickly retreated a step backwards.
"Hehe...I'm sorry I interrupted," Adriano (Maestro) stuttered, his eyes wandering away from you two.
You cursed under your breath, but managed to blurt, "AdrIanO!" The Italian turned around once more, his face expressed with embarrassment.
"I know, I-I'll keep it quiet," he hurried out, trying to erase everything that had happened. Marius chuckled at your worries, and brushed it off.
"Well, let's wait until we get to your home, ja?"
"Y-Yeah," you kept your eyes locked on the door, "hopefully he'll actually keep quiet."
"Adriano won't tell!" He furrowed his brows.
"I swear if he dOEs"-
"He won't," Marius places his lips on your forehead, "trust me."
