Without You

Words that dreaded your mind, the words you never wanted hear. The lump in your throat grew, you were suffocating in you own fear and his. You stayed stiff, just a lone tear dripping into your coat and it kept on dripping. Nothing could make you blink, just the silence and the bitter breeze of autumn. A bitter fall it was.

Your head fell on his limp shoulders, nothing in exchange. No words, just melancholy and the deepest of thoughts hidden from inside you. The fears that were inevitable.

You couldn't grasp this. Nothing is a fairy tale. Not even your love could overcome the fear. Nothing has a glorious ending, nothing perfect in such a sad place as this.

Was it wrong to think of such things? Was it wrong to imagine his hands touching up your quivering legs? To want his hot breath against your ear. You liked to fantasize the trail of love marks on your neck, the way he ...

But you were terrified. Terrified of what it could lead up to, you knew the pain of a lost relationship. It was dragging you back.

"It's like I can't let go, Mei."

"You have to."

"I don't want to fall in love with him again."

"He played a game with you, and you still want him? (Y/N), this is not you. You're smarter than this."

"He said he loved me-
