Imagine: you are in love with Enzo, but you see him with another girl, and you break

Living in the little city in Virginia, Mystic Falls was definitely exciting but also dangerous as hell. You found yourself in danger almost every weekend or better every day. Well, that happens when you are the only human, besides Matt Donovan in your friend group.

You very never really keen on the idea of being a supernatural being, a being that has powers or is an immortal; you didn't hate the idea of you being a supernatural being someday, but still, you knew it had a lot of negative sides to it.

Being friends with witches, werewolves, vampires, hybrids, and even heretics made your life hard, but what was even harder was being human who was in love with her vampire friend.

You were kind, outgoing, and never really shy, you liked to tell whatever was on your mind, but you still thought before you said, unlike some people who just said anything that came into their mind, and that included your best friend, Damon.

On the warm, sunny July day, you woke up in a good mood, and there was only one reason for it. You woke up with him on your mind, he was always there never leaving, but today you felt it is going to be a good day, especially for you, oh boy, if you only knew how wrong you were.

Not even after 5 minutes, after you have woken up, your phone buzzed, indicating you got a message. Sleepily you took your phone only to see your best friend Damon texting you.

'Morning sleepyhead, when you are able to, get your cute ass here. We got some fun things to do.' You just groaned when you saw a message; you knew that his definition of fun was different than yours, like a lot different. You are either going to kill some vampires or getting so drunk you won't remember it the next day, or at least he won't.

You weren't the kind of person to drink, or at least drink a lot. You might had one or two glasses occasionally, but never more, you didn't see the point in getting drunk. For you, it was something unnecessary and a way to help kill your liver and hurt your wallet.

But even though it wasn't the smart thing to do, you got up from your soft, warm bed and walked to your wardrobe. You weren't the kind of person that would dress all fancy and everything, you liked to keep it simple, and so you dressed in a pair of old jeans and a mint top, as it was hot outside and you didn't want to feel like you are burning up.

After about 5 minutes of getting ready, you walked to the hall and all the way to the front door. You opened them and smiled as the sun hit your face, and you took a deep breath enjoying the sun and fresh air. But you knew you shouldn't let Damon wait too long as you knew he got impatient quick. So you walked towards your white Toyota Camry that you got last year for your birthday from all of your friends, but what you didn't know was that Enzo chose it and bought but because he thought you would find it weird he went to buy you a car he said to everyone that they aren't allowed to say the word about it, and they never did.

You opened the door and sat inside your car, the moment you sat inside, you took a deep breath and put a smile on your face as you drove to the Salvatores.

It didn't took you long to get to their place, and so in about 10 minutes, you parked your car in front of their place and got out of your car. You slowly looked toward the building and walked to the front door. When you finally were in front of the door you didn't bother knocking, you were here almost every day, so you just entered and immediately walked to the living room hoping to see Damon there, but he wasn't there, you only noticed two people you weren't expecting to see.

You saw the man you were in love kissing another girl, and all you could do was stand there in shock, realizing you missed your chance and that he belonged to someone else, just because you waited too damn long.
