Imagine: After Damon kills Kai at Jo's and Alaric's wedding and he goes to hell, you erase your memories, but he comes back, looking for you.

Everybody at one point in their lives imagines what their life will be like, will you be happy, will you fall in love, will you live the life of your dreams? But you definitely didn't think your life will turn out like it did.

You definitely didn't expect to end up a hybrid and in love with the current enemy of Mystic Falls, heretic Kai Parker. Your relationship was mildly put, challenging. It was hard dating someone that's the most hated person of the town. Every week your friends had another plan on getting rid of him, and it was already getting ridicioulus. You just wanted to be happy, but you knew you won't get your happy ever after.

But no matter how many times your friends tried to kill him you were always by his side, you loved him after all. For you it didn't matter what has happened in the past, all that mattered was the now. And you actually thought you could be happy, that you could find your happiness with him, until one day it all went to the hell, quite literally.

You never thought you would lose him, not even in your darkness dreams and so when the day came, when you lost him forever you lost yourself, you became a shadow of yourself. You became someone even you didn't recognise.

The day actually started normal, at least for once, and you actually thought that this day will be different from others, with no plotting, death threats or trying to kill anyone, it was a wedding day anyway, but of course things in Mystic Falls can always turn bad, no matter how happy day is supposed to be.

Everything was just fine until the time came for the wedding, you were sitting on the chair in the third row waiting for Jo to walk down the aisle, and when the music started your gaze shifted to Jo walking in, dressed in one of the most beautiful dresses, and as she was walking down the aisle, you couldn't help but wonder if in matter of years this could be you, walking down the aisle, smiling, as you started a new chapter with Kai, but that thought just made you laugh. You knew he wasn't that kind of person that would want to get married, and you were content with what you had, for you it has been just enough.

One minute you have been smiling, thinking about your and Kai's future and in the next you have been standing and crying over your dead boyfriend's body. In matter of minutes your world collapsed, you lost the one person you loved the most, and at the moment he died, a part of you died with him. And even though nobody liked Kai, their hearts were breaking for you, their friend, because they knew how much he meant to you, for you he was your whole world.

The next second you felt hands around you and Damon's voice, "hey, hey. Calm down. Come, you need to go home." And then you just lost it, as you teared yourself from his embrace and pushed him away with every bit of strength you had.

"Get the hell away from me!" He put his hands up in the defence as he stepped closer cautiously. "Calm down." With those simple words you just lost it. He has just killed your boyfriend and now he was standing in front of you, telling you to stop making a big deal of it.

"Calm down? Calm down? You just killed my boyfriend! I will make you regret it Damon Salvatore." But suddenly you felt a sharp, burning sensation, and suddenly everything became dark. Unknown to you, you have been injected vervain by Stefan, they didn't want to have another body on their hands, and they knew you are dangerous when you are angry, and they knew you would regret it, and they believed your anger would became smaller in matter of days, but what they didn't take into the account was that Kai was for you the whole world, and his death emotionally destroyed you.
