We Are The World

"So... What about our bet ?", I jokingly asked.

"Oh yeah right you won that bet", she replied giggling.

Once again I was lying on her bed with her beside me. It was already pretty late when I mentioned a bet we made a few days earlier. I can't remember what that bet was about but I still know that I asked for a kiss if I emerged victorious.

"Well, I have to go in 15 minutes so we better hurry up", I continued to joke.

Given that we had that awkward conversation about friends with benefits last time, I figured she would just laugh it off. But surprisingly she turned her head to me and looked me very deep into the eyes. 

"Are you serious about this ?", I asked her after realizing what she meant with that look.

As I found out later. She actually agreed on being friends with benefits the other day. But the connection cut out exactly when she told me that. So all I heard was she being embarrassed by her own words. But at that time I was really surprised she would take a stupid bet seriously.

She nodded and continued to look me deep into the eyes. I could feel how nervous she got.

I only realized how beautiful she was when I looked deeply into her eyes. My goose bumps almost killed me. We slowly closed our eyes and the rest was just magic. Her lips were so soft and warm. She melted me both on the inside and on the outside. Not satisfied with just a single kiss we stood up from the bed and I guided her to the wardrobe behind her. I gently but firmly pressed her body against her wardrobe. I could feel the warmth of her body through our clothes. My hands slowly followed her curves to her face and we exchanged a very passionate glance. I was in love. We both closed our eyes and I leaned forward. It felt like a firework every time our lips touched.  It was pure ecstasy. 

"Wow", she whispered into my ears and looked at me.

Her passionate and needy eyes immediately drew me back to her lips. I couldn't get enough.I kissed her again and again. For a brief moment it felt like the time has stopped. There was only us in this world. Her and me.

We were the world.
