Renjun's POV
Groaning, I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed it, adjusting my vision to the place where I am.
Wait..
Where am I?
I immediately sat up from where I was laying down. I looked around the place.
There's nothing.
Darkness surrounded me.
My heart pumped loudly in my chest. Closing my eyes, I tried to make my breathing normal. I don't like darkness.
I heard something switch on. I looked up and saw a spotlight meters away from me.
Then it disappeared, leaving me in the darkness again.
I turned around when I heard footsteps behind. It was slow, steady.. causing suspense.
"Who's there?" I asked, my voice echoing in this unknown place. It was still so dark, like I was closing my eyes.
The footsteps stopped. A spotlight appeared above me. I was finally able to see, but only where the light touched.
I screamed when something was written down on the floor. Blood was used.
I slowly read the words after it finished.
HELLO, RENJUN
"Who are you?" I was starting to tremble, but I suppressed it inside. "Show yourself!"
The blood wrote something on the floor again.
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO SEE ME?
Do I?
Even though I was scared, I said, "Yes."
Then there was laughter.. evil laughter coming from in front of me.
Squinting my eyes, I saw smoke circling the space of air. I gasped.
That same black smoke.
It formed into an animal.. a wolf.
I moved away when red eyes appeared, staring at me, looking through my eyes.. trying to get through my soul.
"𝕲𝖗𝖊𝖊𝖙𝖎𝖓𝖌𝖘, 𝕽𝖊𝖓𝖏𝖚𝖓."
"What do you want from me?" I have a feeling this was related to the past, but I was hoping inside that it's not.. that this is just a nightmare.
"𝕴𝖙'𝖘 𝖓𝖎𝖈𝖊 𝖙𝖔 𝖒𝖊𝖊𝖙 𝖞𝖔𝖚."
I didn't know what to reply, so I stayed silent. It chuckled.
Why did its voice sound so familiar?
"𝕴 𝖆𝖒 𝕾𝖆𝖒𝖆𝖊𝖑 𝕿𝖆𝖗𝖓𝖆𝖑𝖚𝖙𝖍,"
It laughed again. It slowly walked towards me, and I backed away from it.
"..𝖄𝖔𝖚𝖗 𝖉𝖊𝖒𝖔𝖓."
It ran towards me, growling and howling at my face. Blood seeped from between its sharp knife-like teeth. It barked and shoved my head in its mouth.
I tried to pull away but then I felt its teeth on my neck, separating my head from my body.
I screamed.
