Jisung's POV
I was falling fast.
I don't know how and why I ended up falling down.. but I was.
I was too shocked that even though I wanted to scream, there was no voice that came out from my throat. I was too dumb struck to even do anything.
I groaned and winced when I fell on a hard floor. I helped myself up, slowly getting on my feet.
I looked around the place where I fell into. My eyes widened when I saw that I was in a mirror maze.
My reflections stared back at me. Why am I here?
Messing up my hair, I started to walk, trying to find a way to get out of this strange place.
While I was walking, I noticed something in my left. I turned my head to that direction and saw one of my reflections.
It seemed different from others, but I don't know why.
I tested it so I raised an arm and I fell on the floor because of the result.
It didn't raise its arm like I did.
Now that I was on the floor, it looked down on me.
The longer I stared at it, the more its face and proportion changed.
Tears stung my eyes when I saw her.
That devious face of hers. There was a slit on her forehead, a sign that I was able to hit the weapon on her.
She chuckled. "Long time no see, Jisung," I stood up and moved away from the mirror. She laughed more at my reaction. "Oh, look who's scared?"
"I killed you." I said through gritted teeth. "Yes, you did."
Her eyes suddenly turned red. "Run along now, Jisung," She raised a hand which was holding a hatchet.
No..
It was the hatchet I used to kill her. "Let's play hide-and-seek."
I screamed as soon as she stepped out of the mirror. I ran away from her and refused to look back.
While I was running, I noticed that my reflection in the mirrors change to hers as I pass by them.
It's all the same; her red eyes and her sharp, scary smile with her hand holding the bloody hatchet.
I continued to run aimlessly. I didn't know where to go.
I hit mirrors often times, deceiving me, claiming to be my own reflection or another hallway. When I hit a mirror, what's inside turns into her and I run for my life.
"Jisung.." Her voice echoed somewhere behind me.
She giggled. "Don't you want to play? You became a scaredy cat." She whispered. I covered my ear to prevent from hearing more of her words.
"Why are you running away?"
She continued to talk and I try not to listen to her. After a while, I stopped. I was exhausted from running.
Her whispers and pleads got louder and louder, adding another statement.
I closed my eyes and covered my ears with my hands. "Stop!" I shouted.
And then everything became quiet.
The tears that has been in my eyes for quite some time now finally stained my cheeks.
Don't come back.. Please..
I wiped the tears from my eyes and stood up.
The mirror maze was gone.
It was suddenly dark. I gave up hopes on finding a light when I felt something in my hand.
A flashlight.
I turned it on and I noticed that the only thing left in this place was a single body-length mirror standing right in front of me.
I stared at my reflection.
I wanted to look away, but I can't move my body. I tried to break out of this reverie but to no avail.
When I looked back at myself, my reflection had red eyes. It was grinning from ear to ear, his sharp teeth showing. Blood dripped from the bottom of his lip.
"𝕳𝖊𝖑𝖑𝖔, 𝕵𝖎𝖘𝖚𝖓𝖌."
It said, its voice low and horrendous. I remained silent. What does this want from me?
"𝕬𝖘 𝖔𝖋 𝖓𝖔𝖜, 𝖞𝖔𝖚'𝖑𝖑 𝖐𝖓𝖔𝖜 𝖒𝖊 𝖆𝖘 𝕬𝖟𝖆𝖟𝖊𝖑,"
It hissed at me.
"𝕬𝖟𝖆𝖟𝖊𝖑 𝕭𝖔𝖌𝖑𝖚𝖟𝖆𝖑."
It suddenly screamed, its voice able to shatter glass. Its mouth was wide.
I saw that mice were going up to his body and into his mouth.
But then I felt the same on my legs.
I looked down and screamed as well when I saw the mice crawling up to me.
"No! No!"
"Stop!"
My eyes opened as soon as I got back to my consciousness. The door to my bedroom opened. Mark hyung and Wonyoung walked inside with worry etched on their faces.
"Jisung, are you alright?" Mark hyung asked and brushed my hair back. Wonyoung handed me a glass of water and I drank all of it down. I gave it back to her and looked at my hyung.
"I.. I saw her, hyung," He raised a brow, confused. I started to sob. "I saw her. That motherfucker." I cursed and buried my face on my pillow.
I heard Mark hyung click his tongue. "Leave us alone for a while, Wonyoung. I'll take care of this." He said. I heard my door close and Mark hyung sat beside me, caressing my back comfortingly.
He sighed. "You know what, Jisung.. I have a nightmare, too," I looked at him. "I won't bore you with the little details, all I know is someone, specifically a lion, introduced itself to me as Satan Diabolo," He paused and gulped.
"And honestly, I'm scared. What if.. What if the past is haunting us again? What if this is another sign..?" I shook my head repeatedly as he asked those questions. "No, no, no. I'm not going back to that kind of way."
"Jisung, calm down."
"I'll avoid death if I can!!" I shouted and he calmed me down again. "Jisung, I'll ask you one question," I raised a brow.
"Did someone introduce itself to you?"
I looked away from him, nodding. "Yeah. He said his name is Azazel Bogluzal." I replied. Mark hyung clicked his tongue, wiping his face with his hand.
"What's wrong, hyung?"
He heaved a sigh. "You probably know about Satan; he's a demon, yes. Azazel.. he's also one." We stared at each other. "Hyung, you don't think.." He pursed his lips into a thin line.
"I think so."
I looked up from my bed and stared at the wall that was facing me. I tapped Mark hyung's hand when words formed on it, written by something invisible. "Shit." I heard him curse.
When the writing was done, I read it.
No..
I don't want to go back to that way.
