The next day we wake up almost the same way as yesterday, this time I woke Sitara up by yelling in her ear. "Heyo!" I yell and she sits up almost immediately. "(y/n)! What was that for," she laughs knowing full well it was payback. "We going?" I ask. For some reason I'm actually excited about meeting these people. "Yeah, let me make myself at least a little presentable first," Sitara says as she heads to the bathroom. After 10 minutes we are taking a cab to our destination. "Why are we at Gary's Games and Glory?" I ask Sitara who's already entering the building. "You'll see," she answers and heads to the back of the shop. There among some boxes is a door with graffiti around it. A keybad on the right side of it on the wall is the only thing without any paint on it. Sitara puts in a code and we wait there for a while, when finally the door opens. We step inside and I follow Sitara down some stairs. At the end of the stairs I can see that the room we just entered is filled graffiti, TV screens and a long table in the middle of the room. There's also a living room looking corner with a sofa and a couple chairs around a tiny coffee table.

Sitara motions for me to follow her into a corner with some tables and computers and I see two people. I man with a beard looking like a hippie really and a guy around my age with a green hoodie. The man is sitting in a chair looking chill and the guy with the hoodie is typing away on one of the computers. "Hey Josh, Ray. Can I get your attention?" Sitara asks while walking to them. Those names, where have I heard them before?  "Sure, what is it?" asks the bearded man. "I know I nagged Marcus for inviting you here after Swelter Skelter without discussing with anyone first. But I think she's somebody you should meet," she says waving her hands around in the air dramatically. "Oh, so you're saying we shouldn't do the same to you now?" the man asks. "Yes," she just simply says and looks at the guy looking confused on the computer chair. "Well, who are you then?" the bearded man asks. "I'm (y/n). I just resently arrived here," I introduce myself. "Her and I just resently blew up a drug dealing business. She came up with an idea that made sure the whole thing blew to bits..." Sitara starts to tell the two how we dealt a blow to one of the city's drug dealing businesses.

A few minutes later...

"And that's why I think she should join us," Sitara was finally finished with the story and then realizes something. "Where's Marcus and Wrench?" she asks Josh and Ray. "They're out testing the Zero Day. They should..." Josh doesn't even finish his sentence when we hear somebody shout from the stairs. "We are having a party! The Zero Day works!" the two people come down the rest of the stairs and I finally see the two guys. The other has some sunglasses, a snapback and a hoodie with dark jeans and sneakers. He also has a dark complexion and a laptopbag over his shoulders. The other guy... Oh God. He has that familiar vest from the cactus, ripped jeans, sneakers and that studded mask.

So I really am in a videogame

So I really am in a videogame... Who woulda thunk. "Okay, what's this now? Weren't we supposed to consult everyone before bringing new people to the hackerspace," the man with the snapback asks with slight amusement and sarcasm in his voice. "Yeah I know, but you gotta hear what we did yesterday. We blew up a drug dealing business and she's basically the mastermind," Sitara beams. "Alright, I'm Marcus and this here is Wrench. So what'd you do?" says the man in the snapback. "I realized the sprinkler system was filled with flammable liquid, so after planting the bomb Sitara gave me, I exited after switching the system on. Little effort, big boom," I say the last bit matter o' factly. Marcus nudges Wrench for some reason and it's like the guy woke up from a coma. "Tell me every detail!" this takes me by surprise and he sees it. "Oh is the mastermind shy?" he cooes. That robotic voice from his mask is going to end me some day. "No, it's just there isn't anything else to add to the story," I say keeping myself calm. This doesn't seem enough for him since he moves closer. He crosses his arms over his chest and we start a staring contest. His mask is rabidly changing from ^ ^ to ~ ^ and back. I take a step closer to him so now my chest is almost touching his crossed arms, and because there's practically no height difference this just looks like siblings fighting. I think I got this in the bag. I move forward quickly and bump my chest against his arms, he stumbles backwards and looks at me for a minute before laughing. "Yo, we keeping her right," he asks Marcus. "After that display of pure authority, we must," Marcus laughs and Ray joins him. "It's decided then," says Sitara and only now I realize Josh has already moved back to his computer, he's so quiet and quick, a ninja almost. He was standing next to Sitara just a few seconds ago. "The party you were talking about when you entered, am I invited?" I ask, getting everyone's attention. "For sure!" yells Wrench and Marcus goes to a fridge to get beer and some other snacks. How did I not see that fridge? "Oh yeah, I'm (y/n) by the way. I didn't say it to the two of you yet," I say to mainly Wrench as Marcus is still gathering food and drinks. I join the others on the sofa and we start a party.

Many hours later...

For some reason *cough* alcohol *cough* only some of us were able to go to an actual bed. Sitara was the only one sober enough to get Josh with her to her house. Marcus went out to do something. Ray was lost during the movies we binge watched. Me and Wrench, neither of us was in any shape to move later that night, unconcious decision to stay put on the sofa. Don't know how and why we ended up like this, with him laying on his back like a normal person and me on his chest with my head hanging off the edge of the sofa and my legs over the headrest my back against his chest. How the Hell does anyone even sleep in such a position you ask? Well... I would like to know too. I wake up to some noise coming from under me and dropping my legs from the headrest to the sofa, as gently as a hungover person can. The laziness washes over like a tidal wave and I just lay on Wrench's stomach. Until he starts to move and stir awake, I start to remove myself off him. "What a weird dream... I saw a dream about a person with as good or even better alcohol tolerance than mine..." Wrench slurs barely awake. "You dummy, that happened last night... We were having fun and the drinking game took a serious turn from being a game to just 'How much alcohol can you down at once?' so there's that," I say and try to stand up, but fail miserably. My body is so sore, I'm surprised I didn't choke on my own vomit considering my sleeping position. "We should call Marcus for some hangover food and drinks," Wrench says starting to sit up as well. "My head... It's like my head is a door and somebody's knocking..." I say holding my head while sitting on the sofa. "I'll call Marcus to get some food, what do you want for breakfast?" Wrench asks. "Anything will do right now, but if you'd really get him to bring painkillers too, I'll fucking love you for that," I say still holding my head and closing my eyes.
