This is a fanfic of Wrench from WatchDogs2. Wrench x SupernaturalFemReader
The reader will be as tall as Wrench. Also the reader is going to have a weird backstory, which I'll explain somewhere in the story. The reader is in her early 20's but this...
It's been a few weeks since I joined Dedsec and things are going quite well. I've been helping Josh with some minor tracking and Marcus has gone after the people we've managed to dig out of hiding. Sitara has argued with Ray about nearly anything and I haven't seen Wrench in awhile. It's like he's vanished into thin air. Whenever I ask Marcus where he might be he suggests the garage, but never says where that damn garage is. That's why today is the day I'm going to find that garage and finally talk to somebody who might be able to help me with somehing.
On a rooftop somewhere in San Fransisco...
It's a good thing I learned how to use that Driver SF -app and earned a little money as a driver for the app. Well, a little money is an understatement since I was able to buy myself a laptop and a much better cellphone. I still have a little bit left if I need it, but now I need to focus on the task at hand. I sit down on the rooftop and pull out my laptop and start typing. I "scan" the area by closing my eyes and emptying my mind for a second. I take a deep breath and slowly let it out. In reality this is just to calm my nerves and really focus on my laptop rather than whatever that one cat is trying to accomplish a block away. These senses of mine that mess with me when I need to focus are at some point useful but now they're just a nuisance. The laptop on my lap starts to act up and after a while I see the camera on the top of it turn on. For a few seconds I think the damn thing broke, but then suddenly a face appears. "Well what do we have here?" Wrench doesn't even seem that surprised. "Is hiding yourself from me already that boring?" I ask and Wrench's mask shows ^-^. "No, but you still won't find me," he says before disappearing and the camera on my end shuts down shortly after. Oh, you think so? The challenge has begun a long time ago and you've already lost. There's no way I'm letting him have fun without me for this many weeks without any punishment. Plus, Marcus tells me the stuff they've done, it's so wrong that I'm not allowed to join them. It's frustrating and I feel left out. I'm sure Marcus has told me a little extra than what actually happened but I can never be too sure. Anyway, I'm off to surprise some hackers.
Some time later...
Good thing I'm a little above average, otherwise that fall could possibly have caused some serious injuries. Then again who told you to jump down a ladder and get stuck on it halfway down. In any case all I got from that was a bruise to my ankle and a big blow to my pride. Still I managed to get myself to the garage in about 10 minutes. First 7 minutes I used to curse myself to the depths of Hell, the other 3 minutes I walked across the street and knocked on the big garage door. Surprisingly it opens revealing a little too quiet Wrench and inside the garage I can see Marcus pacing in circles. "Hey, what's going on?" I ask just before Wrench pulls me inside with a little too much force so I just stumble before falling face first to the ground. "What do you mean what's going on, you should know. After all you work for Prime_Eight don't you?" says Wrench. "Why did you lie to us?" Marcus adds and drags me to my feet, pulling me towards another door. Once the door opens, Marcus throws me to the back of a van, sits in the driver's seat and Wrench sits down on the passenger seat. The van started and took off. Guess we'll see where we end up. I hope it's the ocean.
20 minutes later...

When the roar of an engine and my very prominent insomnia get together it usually equals some quick naps. But now when I can hear people scream as Marcus weaves through traffic and then abrubtly stops in his tracks, it really doesn't feel like a good time to sleep. My body reacts just like the unsecured traffic cone in the back of the van and I fly forward, the traffic cone hits my head earning a groan from me. Why is my life like this? Anything inanimate has a problem with me. Hills, rose bushes, ladders and now traffic cones. Wrench yanks the doors open and pulls me with him to the hackerspace. We go inside and wait by the door in the back room. Once it opens my body is pushed by Wrench down the stairs. When I finally end up at the bottom, everything is spinning due to the fact that I just rolled down a flight of stairs. I pick myself up and at the same time Wrench grabs my forearm and pulls me towards the rest of the group with Marcus behind him. "Now speak! Why the Hell did you lie about just arriving in San Fransisco?" Wrench yells at me. For some reason I can't get a word out. What are they talking about? I never told them no lie. While my mind starts wandering Sitara comes up and slaps me. "Why?!" Why what? I'm as confused as you people. And physically harming me ain't helping. "What are you trying to accomplish?" asks Josh all of a sudden from behind his laptop screen. "We're trying to do something you would usually have noticed already. Getting the truth out of her. She's told us a false story about herself, or do you disagree, kid?" Ray spits out with noticeable venom in his voice. Who hurt him? "She's as clueless about this as you are. Wouldn't that already tell you she hasn't lied? It's something Prime_Eight did without her knowledge. She arrived here mysteriously and not from any other country but another dimension, hence the fact she doesn't have a ctOS- profile at all. There's no public records of her and the only thing Prime_Eight got was a picture of her starting up an abandoned car. The interesting thing is that Prime_Eight got paid by Blume CEO, Dusan Nemec, to create a profile for her in their servers to keep track of her. All we know is they are interested in her," Josh mumbles from his laptop, never once looking up from it. Now I'm starting to understand. They thought I was a rival because that group had put my picture up in their servers to claim I belonged to their group. A classic tactic used by some people to try and manipulate others to rat out somebody. I guess they thought I'd be wounded or shot on sight and then Blume would come and pick me up, and later brainwash me to tell them all about Dedsec. Clever, but we fortunately got Josh, otherwise this could've become ugly. "You got any more information on Prime_Eight and their association with Blume? That Dusan sounds familiar but I can't place my finger around why," I ask Josh moving closer away from certain usually loud people. "Not yet but I'm working on it. You should probably try to calm down. I'll update the Dedsec-app on your phone once I can send you on a mission. Until then try to keep a low profile," Josh says glancing quickly at me before turning back to his laptop. "Will do. And thanks," I say and pat Josh on his back. Then I climb the stairs up to Gary's Games and Glory and out into the city air. Good thing it's not yet too late outside, the last thing I need is attention to myself after all that. I should probably take a run into that forest I originally came from. Any how I'm surprised by how they acted. Did they have suspicions about me even before that, or was that how they'd react with anyone else?
