Its been three days since i got that letter and i had completely forgotten about it. I mean, come on, who's going to remember some note pinned to their window, one that was probably a mistake?

It was a Saturday and me and J.J. were sitting in a local diner, talking.

"So, are you free this weekend?" J.J. asked as she dragged a fry through her bar-b-que sauce. Yes. She eats her fries in bar-b-que sauce. I've tried it and it actually taste ok.

I shrugged. "Not really. I planned to go to the mall and get new boots. Mine are about to fall apart."

She grinned. "Perfect! We can go together! I need to get some St☆r brand coffee as a present for my dad's birthday. When we're both done we can go clothes shopping!"

I giggled. "Why do you like shopping so much? I though you didn't like girly things?"

She smirked. "I may not like girly things but, that doesn't mean I don't like trying on clothes, getting mad about my weight and then going to Starbucks and Jack in the Box to gain some frustration pounds."

I laughed. She gave me a look. "What? Its the only time i get to go to Starbucks! My mom thinks they're gross and doesn't like me going there."

I frowned. "Why?"

"Something about them having fake coffee or something like that. I think its just how expensive they are. Like i care."

I shook my head. "That kind of thinking is going to get you poor. I'm not saying you shouldn't have it at all but, she's right about the money thing."

She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah, I know." She took another bite of fry. "But, she could be nicer about it." She muttered under her breath.

I just chuckled. Then i picked up my tray and left to throw it out. When i got back J.J. had a thoughtful look on her face.

I sat back down and said, "I was planning to go today. So, if you want to come, you better finish eating." She didn't say anything. "J.J.?" Still nothing. "J.J.!" Suddenly she sat straight up in her seat. "What?! Whats wrong?!" She was looking around frantically.

She stopped when she saw my face. "Did you even hear what i said?" I asked with a frown.

She blushed. "Oh...sorry i was thinking. What did you say?"

I sighed. "I said i was planning to go today. So, if you want to come, you better hurry up."

She nodded. "Oky doky!" Then i face-palmed myself as she picked up her whole thing of fries and poured it in her mouth. Then she pour bar-b-que sauce all over it. She closed her mouth, chewed, swallowed and gave me a big grin.

That's not what I meant by 'hurry'.

I was staring at her in shock.

"What?"

"And you call yourself a human?!"

She giggled. "No, actually I call myself a girl. I never said i was a human."

I mentally slapped my forehead.

How did i meet this person?!

*******

I waited outside the coffee shop for J.J. to pick her coffee. She had insisted on going to this one because it was the only one that sold her dad's favorite brand of coffee. I personally think its not that great but, her dad is crazy about it and never fails to have a mug full of it in hand.

They had a new flavor and she wanted to get an extra bag so she could force me to try it to see if it tasted as good as everyone said before giving it to her dad.
