The girls came down stairs and they stood in a line at the ball room's entrance to greet the guests as they arrived. After a while of greeting, Azazel could tell Hannah was just itching to get out and dance.
"Girls? Why don't you go have a little fun now the ballroom is filling up, hm" Azazel suggested. Josephine, Charlotte and Hannah did as they were told immediately but, Elizabeth stayed.
"Are you sure father? I can stay and help greet, queen in training you know" Elizabeth asked. She took her royal training very seriously.
"Yes, go have fun" Her father replied. Elizabeth head out to the dance floor and simply watched from the sidelines. She never had any interest in the male suitors that tried to court her but, that just gave her more of the chance to watch out for her sisters. Hannah already had three different guys on her arm, Josephine was getting a snack, and Charlotte was playing some piano for the guests, since the pianist was late, truly in her element. Once all the guests had arrived, Victoria and Azazel took to the dance floor and waltzed together.
"You know, i'm really proud of our daughters my dear. They all have your beauty" Azazel said gazing into Victoria's chocolate eyes.
"Why, they have your strength!"Victoria blushed.
"Oh! And your charm!" Azazel tried to one up her.
"Is this going to turn into another compliment battle my dear?" Victoria joked.
"Potentially, you know how competitive I can be" he said sarcastically. Victoria rolled her eyes and kissed his cheek.
"Now now, behave yourself Azazel" she sarcastically replied.
"Oh I will my love do not worry. I am going to get a few drinks to relieve the stress of 40 royal families being here at once, would you like one as well?" Azazel said already stepping towards the drinks.
"Oh yes please my dear-" Victoria was cut off.
"Wait for me, I wouldn't want some handsome lord sweeping you off your feet" he flirted while getting them some wine. When he returned, he drank it all almost immediately.
"Slow down dear, have something to eat in between drinks" Victoria warned.

~Azazel has a severe drinking problem. He's fine when he's not intoxicated but when he is, it's not good. Victoria hesitates to describe his anger while drunk and hides it from the girls and the outside world. She's careful because her life could depend on
it. ~

"Don't worry my dear!" Azazel slurred. Amora walked in the ballroom fashionably late, of course.
"Speak of the devil"Victoria joked.
"The perfect embodiment of the devil, don't you think" He snorted. Victoria nudged him. They laughed, they joked, they danced, they flirted. It was like they were kids, falling in love all over again.
"Did I tell you that you look absolutely stunning tonight?" Azazel complimented his wife.
"Why thank you! You almost do as well!" she teased.
"Almost?" Azazel asked confused. Victoria didn't say a word and simply just straightened his crooked crown. He laughed.
"I would be so lost without you my love" Azazel said genuinely.
"Me without you as well" She replied. Without a word spoken, they leaned in kissed. Their lips moved in sync, almost as if they were communicating through their minds. After a few moments they pulled away.
"Would you get me another glass of wine my dear?" Victoria asked with puppy dog eyes.
"Yes of course, I shall get one for myself too-" he was cut off by a suddenly angry Victoria.
"W-Wait, how many have you had? You know you need to be careful, you know how you get" she raised her voice.
"How I get? HOW I GET? YOU ARE THE ONE THATS FREAKING OUT" Azazel yelled. Everyone's heads turned.
"Let's discuss this in the hall" Victoria whispered dragging Azazel out
