~ this is the season one finale ~
Elizabeth paced the floor.
"This isn't fair" she said to herself.
"He's not being fair. My life is just beginning and i'm being locked up" she ranted on and on. Her father told the family they had to lock themselves inside the palace. It'd been that way for three weeks. Hannah listened to her sisters rants and watched her pace back and forth.
"I mean there's not much we can do Liz, he's our father. he's the king" she explained. Elizabeth stopped in her tracks and turned to Hannah.
"You're right. We can't do something because he's the king...but i'm the heir to the throne" Elizabeth smirked.
"Oh no here we go again" Hannah groaned. Elizabeth frequently spoke about her becoming queen one day and she assumed it was another one of her tangents, but this was different.
"No Hannah, listen. Father is unstable without mother. We all can see he's off his rocker, but i'm a perfectly fine, young, healthy, beautiful, heir to the throne. If I can win the people over, I could take this palace over and set us free-" Elizabeth explained but was cut off.
"Woah woah woah. You aren't being serious. You can't dethrone your own father??" Hannah brought her back down to earth. She knew she was right and sighed.
"Yes, yes I understand. Run along now before I get any more tangent ideas" Elizabeth dismissed as Hannah left her bedroom for her own. Elizabeth knew it was a crazy idea, but not too crazy to keep in her back pocket
just in case.

Azazel was sat on a bench in the palace garden within the gates. He was trying to clear his head, as he'd been doing every day for the past three weeks. still no progress.
"Azazel-" Amora called walking out of the palace to him. He sighed.
"What do you want now?" he groaned.
"Don't be that way brother" she said compassionately. It took Azazel off guard, but he kept up his walls.
"And whats that supposed to mean?! You know our relationship is estranged, we're almost strangers! All you want from me is my throne. Am I wrong?!" he shouted at her but she remained quiet, calm and genuine.
"I'd like to comfort my brother in a time of grief" she explained but Azazel tensed.
"My darling sister wants to comfort her brother whom she wishes to dethrone! Amora, I don't buy it for a second" he scoffed.
"I DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE THRONE! IT ISN'T IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW" Amora shouted before letting her eyes fall to the ground. They were silent for a moment or two before she mumbled,
"I'm sorry" she whimpered.
"S-Sorry? For what?? The love of my life is dead" Azazel cried as tears began to roll down his cheeks. He wouldn't normally be some vulnerable, especially around Amora but, he was weak.
"I'm...i'm sorry for the way i've acted all these years. I haven't been here for you but, now i'd like to be" she admitted. This is the longest the siblings had ever gone without taking a jab at each other. It was kind of beautiful. He began to get up and walk away when he was stopped.
"Azazel" Amora said.
"Yes Amora?" he answered turning around to look at her.
"You're all I have left that is dear to me. Thank you" she smiled. He ran over to her and pulled her into the tighter hug her could. They both teared up as this hadn't happened since they were children.
"I don't wish to dethrone you. I've changed" she sniffled into her brother.
"A little changer never hurt anyone dear sister" he said with a tearful smile.
