School to Cameron has it up and has it downs.
The ups is the IT department, the two hours of being in a safe space, learning his passion, the other ups, his mates waiting at lunch, sharing food and having a good time, making wired and funny videos, forgetting about the world and people around them.

The downs, the bullying, the hurtful words that he gets every two seconds, the pushing into walls, the bloody nose and black eyes, the nearly broken ribs, all because he was openly gay since he was 14. His mother and father being supportive and understanding, his sister and brother still being annoying, friends loving the hell out of him.
His crush Ellis Adams, helping him away from his friends, the first time he picked him up, took him to the nurses office, said sorry and handed him an ice pack and walked away.

Cameron was sat in the nurses office after another daily hut by one of Ellis friends called Seb during P.E. the teacher thought that a ball was thrown at his face and told him to go to the nurses office. Cameron saw that Ellis was slightly watching him walk away.

Ellis walked into the room.

"Which one did this?" He said as he sat down on the chair opposite next to him.

"Seb." He said as he placed the ice pack on his face. Ellis stood up and walked out of the room. Cameron knew that he was going back to P.E.

Walking back to the field, Ellis was thinking why time after time that his mates are bullying Cameron, he doesn't know why he wants to stick up to Cameron, he started for the past couple of weeks having a weird feelings for him and he doesn't want to but he does.

"Leave him alone, god damn it." He ran up to Seb and punched him in the face, the P.E teacher, ran to them and told Ellis to go to the changing rooms,

"Seb, nurses office." The P.E teacher picked him up, Ellis was halfway across the field, he watched at Seb walked past him, Ellis felt nervous that Cameron and him will be in the same room.

..

Ellis was walking around the school grounds, mainly because there was no seating areas, his mates were being dicks to the other students in the school, hitting them behind their heads to tell them to stop. They got the table and sat and ate their food. The table across had Ellis' attention, Cameron and his friends sitting, laughing, messing around and having fun. Ellis wishing that it was him at the table as well.

Finlay and Mat were messing around with people's backpacks, Ellis is getting annoyed, he walked into the lunch hall to get away.

....

That might Cameron walked up to his room, hiding the bruises on his face to his mum, closing his door, laying on his bed, looking up at the ceiling, not wanting to go to school again, him thinking that, it always be like that, no one will want to date him, Ellis and his friends are going to pick on him until they leave school.

"Cameron, what bus wrong?" He heard his mother say behind the door, he sat up and expected that his mother would walked through the door, him having to explain the bruises. "Come down when you are ready."

Cameron sat at his desk and started to write out his English essay, he got a request from Ellis Adams, the Ellis Adams that came into the nurses office today. The one that hit is mate because of it.

He accepted, then his brain told him, he had hit accept without a second hesitation, what the hell?

On the screen he saw Ellis's message:

Hi, I know that this is weird but could you help with English and geography, we in the same class and you seem well good.

Cameron was shocked at what he was reading the Ellis Adams is wanting his help, the guy that has friends that are beating me up, what is he going to do when they find out that this is happening.

Please, my parents want my grades to go up.

Cameron was starting to reply. He put:

Ok. When?

Now.

Cameron looked at the screen, he wants to have a study session now, right now. He self consciously, put yes and the address to his house, in 15 minutes Ellis will be in his bedroom. What is he going to do?

He spent the 15 minutes cleaning the bedroom, making room for them to study even though he knows in his head that he isn't going to be able to sit next to Ellis and help him study.

"Cameron, you have a friend here." It was weird hearing his mum say that Ellis is a friend when we all know that he isn't. Ellis opened the door, he turned and looked, saw Ellis with his backpack, books and standing at the door.

"You can come and sit down." Cameron pointed to the place next to him, he got out his notes while Ellis was getting his pens and exercise books out.

After an hour, Ellis and Cameron sat and read each other notes, it was surprising that Ellis is actual good at work, his notes were nearly perfect, he had to redo some of the notes but not a lot. "You are actually good. You don't need me to tutor you."

"Really, I thought that I want to good, the teacher told me to do this work over." He pointed to his work on Mary Shelley. Cameron actually thought that the teacher was right but he wanted to make Ellis feel like he can do it.

"Boys, want to have something to eat." Cameron's mum said at the door. Cameron tensed and looked at the floor, Ellis kind of knew that it was because of the bruises on his face.

Ellis stood up and walked to the door, he opened it and walked out.

"Mrs Lancaster, could we eat in the bedroom as we have a lot of work to do and my parents want me home in a couple of hours." Ellis said in his nice boy voice that made her melt.

"Yes dear, here." She handed him two plates of Spaghetti Bolognese and garlic bread.  He walked back up the stairs, through the door and placed the food on the table. He went and closed the door, sat back next to Cameron and they started to eat the food.

"Thank you for doing that." Cameron said after taking two mouthful of the pasta and tomato sauce.

"It's ok. I'm sorry about my mates, believe me when I say that I tell them to stop. I had enough today and punched Seb." He placed the food in his mouth, taking a bite out of the garlic bread.

They finished, drank some juice and then started to study again. It was time for Ellis to leave.

"Can I come again tomorrow." Ellis asked as they were walking down the stairs.

"Bye." They heard Cameron's mum say while she was in the kitchen.

"Yeah."

Cameron closed the door, not believing that Ellis Adams wants to study at his house with him. He walked into the kitchen, forgetting that he had bruises on his face.

"Cameron what has happened to your face?" His mum walked up to him and started to look at his face. She was concerned.

"It was a football, someone kicked it, I was in the way. Don't worry." He said.

"You are staying off school."

"No mum, I'm fine. Ellis is coming over again tomorrow." He pleaded.

"No." His mum walked away, Cameron walked away and back into his bedroom.

Waiting for his time tomorrow with Ellis after school.
