Ellis and Cameron

13. 1 Year Later

Cameron had been at university for a year and was so happy to finally go back home to his family for summer. He couldn't wait to see Ellis again as they saw each other 3 months ago.

They have been stronger ever since that day that Ellis came to Newcastle. Cameron started to voice his concerns and happiness instead of bottling it up and making everyone worry about him.

"Cameron, when are you leaving?" Hunter said walking to the bedroom. Cameron walked out of the bathroom to his room.

"2 hours, and get of my bed." He pushed Hunter of his clothes that he laid out to change into. "Ellis will be here soon."

"Good, I need to ask him how he won at tennis." Hunter got out his phone.

"Well, for starters, he been playing tennis since he was 5 and also a assistant P.E teacher who teaches kids to play." Cameron laughed pulling Hunter out of the room. He closed the for and started to change.

"Still, he could have let me win as I am a newbie to tennis." Hunter said at the other side of the door. Cameron sniggered.

"Ellis doesn't let other people win easily. Ask him for lessons." He opened the door and saw Hunter messaging Ellis. "He's driving. Leave my poor boyfriend alone, he tells me that you are always bothering him."

"I'm not going to steal your boyfriend." They walked out of the door.

"I know that because you like Thea." Hunter punched his arm and walked into the kitchen. "Thea date Hunter."

"Nope."  Blunt and honest to everyone.

Ellis messaged that he will be there in 20 minutes. Cameron took his suitcase and out it near the door. He hugged Thea for 10 of those 20 minutes.

He got to his house, his mother was stood a t the door with the kids." Hey mum, Lolli, Arden. Are you all OK?"

"So glad that my son is back now." His mother hugged him.

"Sophie, " his dad pulled his wife and they walked into the living room.

"Don't tell Ellis I am here now, I need a night to breath as he won't leave me alone till I have to go back to Newcastle." Cameron decided to take his bags and go to his room.

He went on his phone to message all his mates not to tell Ellis that he is back so that he can sleep soundly for one night before Ellis clings to him for the whole summer.

That night, Cameron had to keep himself away from the phone or he will have the urge to call Ellis and tell him to come to the house.

After going back and forth from not calling to wanting to call Ellis he fell asleep.

The next the day Ellis was downstairs for breakfast, he was talking to Cameron's dad about football and basketball. He walked into he kitchen and sat next to Ellis. He took his hand and sat smiling looking at Ellis.

Ellis wouldn't let go of Cameron for the whole morning, he couldn't be able to look away from Ellis' face.

"Ellis, can I just sit next to you not on top of you." Cameron was nudging away from Ellis and sitting on the chair next to the desk. Ellis looked at him scared.

"Sorry, its all the time that I'm at university and it me just getting to use to being around you after so much time alone." Ellis understood, he knew that even if it has been a year since the rape but he is still scared and not over it. Ellis eased himself and kissed Cameron and moved over to the bed and laid there on his phone.  Cameron looked over a second later looking at Ellis he was laid facing away scrolling through TikTok.

"Ellis want to go get food." Cameron said smiling at him, Ellis looked up slightly from jis phone and went back to looking at it ignoring to answer Cameron.

"I'm tired. You go with Harriet, Millie or Catarina, they have been wanting to spend more time with you." Ellis stood up and walked to the bathroom.

"Ellis, did I upset you?" Cameron followed him to the bathroom. Ellis washed his face took of his top and walked to the bed.

"No, I'm just tired, planning lessons, taking cover classes, college and also having to look after Mackie as well, il make sure we go out at the weekend. Promise." He kissed Cameron and went on TikTok.

Cameron called Harriet to get everyone together and meet at the pub. He walked out of the bedroom down the stairs and out of the house walking to Cassandra house on the way.

"Ellis has been waiting for you to come back and now he like this," she said as they made it to Jake's house, them three walked to the pub waiting outside was the rest of the group.

All the girls hugged Cameron and pulled him into the pub. "Wait, Ellis was so happy that you are home for a while now he is at home in bed upset."

"It's because of the thing that happened with that guy, I get nervous and scared when he hugs and kisses me it reminds me of that night." Cameron said over all the noise and drinking the beer Luke had bought them.

"Catarina has a new boyfriend." Adam blurted out to get out of the awkwardness that was occurring knowing that Cameron wanted to stop them talking about it.

"Wait... I hate being in Uni far away sometimes, I miss all the gossip that you guys have... There is nothing that happens apart from me at Uni." Cameron said that after getting his 4th beer.

An hour later they were pulling Cameron and Luke out of the pub. Ellis came walking down the street to meet them. He took Cameron and said bye to the others and walked back to the house.

At the house he got Cameron in the bed and went to the bathroom. "Cameron don't throw u..." all over the bed. Ellis cursed under his breath. "come on."

He laid Cameron on the floor, took of the bed sheets out by the door. "Sophie is there any clean bedding for Cameron's bedroom." Sophie handed the bedding, and some paracetamol and water and left.

Cameron was laid on his side of the floor asleep, occasionally murming and squirming on the floor. "Just wait I have to do the new bedding."

He then stood up and pulled up Cameron and put him in the toilet seat. Turned on the shower and helped Cameron take of his clothes and then helped him stand in the shower and wash him. "Cameron you never get drunk like this."

"I know you hate the fact that you can't touch me, kiss me and hug me." Ellis helped him out of the shower, in new clothes and on the bed. "See... You didn't want to have dinner with me... Did... Didn't want to talk to me so I went out with my friends that I haven't seen in a while and got smashed... Because I am just this little nerd that got raped because I am gullible to people.

"Cameron, I don't hate you, I love you so much, I know that you can't get over the horrible experience and I wanted to be there so much and I want to help you get through it but I'm tired as I have to get student plans ready, class plans ready and also mark homework, it is almost likely that I will get tired and just want to sleep. " He was picking up the sheets to take them to the laundry room.

Cameron turned around and acted like he was going to sleep. He looked at the photo on the bedside table of him and Ellis and stared until he fell asleep.

Ellis walked back into the room and looked over at the bed, Cameron was facing the other way asleep finally. He picked up his coat and shoes walked around the side of the bed, kissed Cameron's head, put a note on a piece of paper and then walked out of the room.
