1 Year later...
Today is Cameron's graduation day, he was happy that he finally finished university but he was upset that he couldn't spend it with Ellis.
They haven't talk or met for a year and he misses him, he sees on Ellis's Facebook how he is progressing in his therapy and also how he passed his courses in college and how he got a full time job at the school and he seemed to be happy but that not the same for Cameron, he knew that he should say something first, make it seem right but he doesn't know how to.
"Cameron, let's get a picture of all of us together, us lot we are going to London or America to study or jobs, we won't be seeing each other a lot," Shelby saying taking photos of each other.
They took photos, went back to the apartment, packed up all there stuff, Cameron's dad had taken most of the stuff with them when they had left, he was going to take the rest as he drove up to Newcastle when he left a year ago.
From Ellis:
Hi, just wanted to say congratulations on graduating.
Cameron went with the guys, to the pub that they went to all the time as a last time drink together, after they went home to spend one last night there.
The next day Ellis was walking to camerons house with a bouquet of flowers, he was hyping himself up to do this, at the door, Cameron's parents let him in and he went up to his room, he hasn't been there in so long but nothing has changed, he was surprised when he saw the the photos of him and Cameron, the clothes that he would take from him, and also the gifts that Ellis gave him as thylet dated.
"Thank you for letting me do this, I am getting better and I want to show this to him," his parents nodded in agreement and closed the door, Ellis sat on the bed, Cameron's parents said he will be home in 20 minutes.
Cameron was walking to the door of the house, he walked in, his parents was trying to keep the twins from telling him what was in his room, he hugged everyone and made the way up to his room.
He opened the door and looked up, Ellis was staring at him, he stood up quickly and wanted to talk but he couldn't spit it out.
"Cameron, these are for you, like I said in the message congratulations for graduating." He handed the flowers to Cameron he took them with a slight smile on his face.
"I'm so sorry that I didn't contact you..." Cameron said and Ellis stopped him.
"You were right, my mum got me in therapy, I figured out that I started my panic disorder when I started work experience, and having college," he walked to the bed and sat down, "I got more depressed when I started to lose confidence in being a dad, thinking about our future, my job and everything... It wasn't right to be like that to you."
"Ellis, its my fault that I didn't try to help and I just left, I saw how good you were doing the past year and I didn't want to ruin that." Cameron made the first move, he walked to Ellis and stood in front of him.
"You know I was upset everyday that I left, I should have said something. I am so sorry." Cameron put his hand on Ellis' neck. "I wanted to talk to everyday and ask if you are okay, but my mind told me that you needed to get better and so did it."
"Stop talking about it, I am going to have my off days, but I will talk to you about it and I will help you with your problems, that was my problem last time, I had to much pride." he stood up, Cameron took Ellis' hands and smiled.
"So a year helped us." Cameron hugged Ellis, Ellis hugged Cameron tighter.
"Can we try again?" Ellis asked.
"Yes." They smiled, and kissed.
2 months later...
Ellis had never been happier, he had to breakdowns and a depressive episode after work a couple of days ago because the teachers gave him too much for him to complete but he waited until he was at home and cried into Cameron's arm.
"It will be okay," Cameron was caulking him down, stroking his head and smiling whenever he looked up at him.
"I got a trial week at that consultations place I talked about when we was in Liverpool." Ellis looked up and smiled, kissed Cameron and went back to laying on Cameron's chest.
For the rest of the year they were happy, making sure to not push each other, talk to each other. They turned 21 the other week, they were in good jobs, their families spent more time together and they kids all got along. "Ellis, its out own party, we can't exactly be late, or late than most of the guest that haven't arrived yet."
"I know," he walked out of the closet, Ellis nodded and they walked out of the bedroom to the backyard. They decided to have a late birthday party in Ellis' backyard as his was bigger.
What Cameron didn't know was Ellis was going to propose. And what Ellis didn't know was Cameron was going to propose to him.
In the yard, friends and family were there, chatting and having fun, Ellis friends was messing with Lolli, Arden and Mackie, also all the kids that Ellis had babysit.
"It's so busy, are you OK? Did you take you tablets for you panic attacks." Cameron said as they walked to a clear part of the back of the yard.
"Yeah," Ellis replied, he kissed Cameron, and walked to his aunt and uncle that was talking to his mum and dad, Cameron went to talk to his relatives.
Ellis and Cameron was nervous and excited but they didn't know that they would do this at the same time.
" Everyone, my son would like to say something," Ellis dad, Andrew said, everyone was quiet and looked in Ellis' and Cameron's direction.
"Well everyone know the reason that we all here, to celebrate a late birthday but there is another reason."
Everyone stared at Ellis and Cameron's stared back at him."Cameron we met in school, I was a douche, I was confused over my feelings, I hurt people that are here, but when I made my feelings clear and understood them, I chose you, you make me so happy and I am so grateful..."
"Ellis are you..."
"Marry me?"
Cameron laughed, he looked at Ellis on his knee, ring held up, Cameron got his ring out for Ellis.
"I was going to do the same thing," they both laughed, then everyone else did.
"So what is the answer." someone in the crowd shouted.
"YES." They both said, everyone clapped, they kissed.
After all it was a happy ending.
