Ellis and Cameron

It has been 4 months since Ellis has started to babysit.
Ellis said sorry for snapping at Cameron that day, and that he was happy that he was with friends and becoming more adventurous, he was just upset that he couldn't be with him on a trip.

"Ellis, why don't we go to York or something?" Cameron said on video call, Ellis was marking work after he went back to work about three days after his first babysitting job. "Maybe Scotland, I could show you the places that I went to.

"Summer holiday is in 4 weeks, I'll be coming home 4 days after you break from school, we could spend about 2 weeks there or something," Cameron was still talking, he had his laptop at his side doing his assessment. "I have to take apart a laptop and computer, then put it back together after I have fixed the part that is broken."

"That sounds cool, I had to do that in It before we chose out options." Ellis said showing Cameron the pictures of the world that his class had to do in his class. "Some of the kids tried to have the proper colours and then there is this..."

"Wait I didn't know there was a pig on the map where Russia is, it is pretty good." Cameron laughed and smiled st the piece of paper.

"I have to make three new lesson planning for English, PE and Geography, I have 3 classes to cover tomorrow, why did I decide to work at the biggest primary school in this area, it more like a secondary school." Ellis put more of the very creative world maps on the floor." I am going to work overtime tomorrow."

" I have a job interview when I come home at that new company in the town, that small IT Consulation and website developer company. " Cameron shyly said a minute later, Ellis looked up and smiled a happy smile.

"That is great, I am so happy. Are you coming home by train or is your dad bringing you home as he drives through from that business trip." Ellis asked getting his lesson planner out for English.

"Train, Thea coming to see her sister so I won't be alone, Shelby is going to Lancaster so she will be getting off before we do." He said that while showing the suitcase he has packed full of the stuff he had got from Scotland.

"You have a test tomorrow, I'll let you go, I need to write all these plans, I'll call you later," they smiled at each other and said bye, Ellis put his phone on the bed and he went to get a shower.

It was the next day, Ellis woke up at 3:40am, he put on his work clothes, packed all the books and paper, school work and his plans. The paper from the printer and walked down stairs. His dad was sat in the kitchen with a mug of coffee, he started to pour a mug for Ellis. "I sometimes hate that I agreed to do mornings."

"How many kids today?" His dad handed the mug to his son when he sat nex to him.

"4, two picking up on way to the house, one at the house, breakfast there, leave for school, pick one on the way to the school," he put a slice of toast in his mouth, got a banana and apple, he sat, ate his food and made his way to the door. "wait... Why are you up early on your day off."

"I wanted to see you go off to work." he smiled, and waved bye to his son, "you have been happier recently, it is nice to see you like this, facing fears and being happy doing it."

"Something happened to you, what happened?" Ellis stood up at the door, he couldn't leave but he knew he needed to, he could find out after work. "Well, I'll find out."

"Nothing is wrong." He laughed and walked up the stairs.

Ellis walked out of the house, down the street, going slowly, it was 5:00am, he had enough time to pick up the first kids, Zoe and Sophie.
He made it to the first house, Zoe walked out, her dad handed her lunch box to Ellis, they walked down the street to the next street, Ellis knocked on Sophie's House. Her mum and grandmother was walking out of the house, Sophie, walked intl front of Ellis with Zoe talking about films and TV shows. "Watch out for the road."
