"No dad. I don't need to go shopping. We can basically open a freaking baby mall here in the baby's walk in closet. Alex,went a little overboard with the preparations. Did you know he had arranged for baby's own bathroom a full baby proof bathroom with a freaking jacuzzi bathtub that is operated to suit the baby's heat only if they're bathing him in it-which isn't going to be anytime soon" I said to my dad through the phone as I walked into the kitchen.

After the incident months ago which almost caused me my life and the baby's, Alex had the house full on pregnancy emergency proof.
We moved to an equally large bedroom downstairs because Alex was paranoid about if I slipped and all of that I might get hurt and so can baby.

Alex had also decided to work from home ever since.

"Carlos?" I question as I sit by the kitchen isle and see Carlos, my dad's boyfriend walking out of the food pantry with a bunch if packets in his chef uniform.

"Hey kiddo. What's up?" I shake my head.

"Not much. Its dad I was talking to. Can you make me mac and cheese pasta?" He nodded as he got right to it.
I was going to grab the soda from the fridge when Carlos took that away from my hand.

"Thanks for that kiddo. Master Colletti says you can't have fizzy drinks. Water and fruit juice are allowed though" I nodded frustrated as I took out a juice box of apple juice and poured my drink in a glass.
I drank and put it down when it finished.

"Hey baby" Alex says his arms snake around me from behind and he kisses my cheek.

"Hi" I said as I hug him back.

"Come on,let's wait in the living room for your afternoon snack" he says as I nod.
My back hurts so much.
We plopped down on the leather couch and I put my feet up on Alex's lap.

"Can you massage my feet. It hurts from standing up and all the walking around is killing my feet." I said as I get comfortable by putting a cushion behind me.
