This morning when I woke up,it was a bit weird.
Like every morning when I'd wake up to Alex's arms. He wasn't here.

But he did leave a note.

Good morning sweet boy. Please forgive me for leaving so early. I had a few things to arrange so I thought I'd leave early so that I could in hopes of spending the rest of the day with you. ❤❤❤❤

I smile while putting down the note and I quickly got outta bed.
I changed into a pair of loose pajama pants, and one of Alex's shirts that smell so much like him.

I walked into the kitchen after freshening up.
Carlos and dad were here surprisingly.

"Morning dad,Morning Carlos" I said to them as they smiled at me.

"Morning Will. How's my grandson?" Dad asks as he walks over to me and kisses my forehead before getting on his knees and whispering something to my unborn baby.

We soon have breakfast and Carlos preheats the mac and cheese from last night to which I finished it.
I had mocha and crosones for breakfast along other pastry food like dark forest chocolate cake and cheesecake along with other pastry desserts.

"Where's Alex?" Dad asked when I'm about to take my bite of cake.
"He had to go early into work. He'd be back soon as he's done" I said as I eat my breakfast.

We converse over breakfast,Carlos was a bit too quiet and both dad and I saw this.

"Carlos?babe,you ok?" Dad asks as he nods looking away.

"Its.....I'm getting sent back to Afghanistan" he says defeatedly.

"But your five year term was over" dad said furrowing his brows.

"Yeah. But,they need backup at one of the missions down there in Afghanistan and when I was head commander at that time,all my missions was always completed,so they asked for my help. They need me James please. Some of my men are there too. They're stuck injured. I need to do this baby. Please..." Dad stands up and walks out slamming the front door hardly.

Carlos sighs and stands up.
"Sorry William. You shouldn't be hearing this stressful situation it'll affect your help and my unborn grandson's" he leaves leaving me in a daze.

I stand up and find my phone by the counter as I rung up dad.
He picks up.

"Will?is everything alright?" he's sniffling.

"Aren't I suppose to be asking you that question dad?" He sighs from the end of the line.

"I....I'm just scared" dad says almost a whisper but I can hear him clearly.

"Its ok to be scared dad. I'm sure Carlos is gonna be ok. You should listen to his end story before you run off like that. He looked so...broken like his air supply just ran out. If there's something you can do is support him. Let him go off to his last mission and as for worrying about something happening to him?he was a Head Commander dad, he told you himself. All his missions came out a success. Its just for afew months dad. You get to chat over the phone and through their technical system. Look,just talk to him ok?" He was silent for a bit but nodded anyway.

"I love you Will" he says making me smile.

"Love you too dad. Now go get your man and fuck like rabbits in heat" the last sentence slips out of my mouth and I hold my wide gaping mouth as dad starts to scold me over the phone.

"William Cart-" he starts but I cut the call and go back to the dining table seeing the maids walking in and start their cleaning.

I converse with the mexican maids who understand a bit English.
I finish breakfast as I put my dishes in the sink when I feel the abrupt pain explode in my abdomen and feel a liquid dripping down my PJ pants.

I take deep breaths as I gently as possible,slide down by the cabinets beneath the sink.
I groan in pain as I clutch my swollen stomach.
I continue taking deep breaths as I reach for my phone by the counter.
Black spots invade my sight as I try to reach for my phone but its too high up.

"Help!" I yell clutching my stomach as I hear the front door slam open.

"WILL??!!" I hear Bryce as more spots invade my senses as my eyes droop close.

I can hear faint voices  but my eyelids feel heavy.
