The small cafe smelled like fresh morning coffee and something baked in cinnamon.
I walked up to the counter.

"Hi, can I get a cafe latte-large and some rich chocolate mousse cake with strawberry topping. Thanks..." I went off and took my seat.

The guy who served me,got a twenty dollar tip as he put down my order.
I got a call from Bryce.

"Hey man,you alright?I heard what happened with your brother"

"Yeah,I'm ok. Just dropped him off at the hospital,that little shit...."

"Ok. You coming back to school or what?"

"Yeah,I'm still pissed so I'm cooling off at a cafe near the woods.
I'll be back before third period"

"Alright man, look,I'm here if you need to talk. I got something for you though..."

"What's that?"

"You remember Jordan right?"

"Yeah,he's in my chem class"

"Well,he...um you know.... He sort of likes you"
I laughed making him laugh too.

"Shit. Really?"

"Yeah man,he even asked me for your number. Told him I can't give it in case you didn't like me giving your number to random people"

"Thanks bro. appreciate it man..."

"Yeah,no prob,just get back before he pops a vein thinking of all the things that could happen to you..."

"Wait,you know I'm bi,right?" I asked as he laughed.

"Yeah,you idiot, body language"

"And you're ok with that?"

"Course I'm ok with it. My mum is bi..."

"Wow,that's kinda awkward that you know..."

"Yeah,I did catch her making out with her attorney lawyer. It was kinda hot", I laughed as he laughed too.

" yeah man,I know..."

"Alright,look,I gotta hang before Mrs Mary will glare me to death...", I laughed again.

" alright, thanks man,see you later.."

"Cool bro, I'm hanging up", he hung up as I smiled shaking my head.

While at the cafe,I checked my emails.
I had afew messages from the pit ring back home, I got am email each from Rick,Sean and Damien.

I emailed them back and closed it before I finished my cake.
I asked for another large cafe latte.

Dad called but I declined it and texted him instead.

Me: Sorry,can't talk right now. Call me later.

I got a  reply instantly.

D: Sorry to bother but why is Noah passed out on one of the hospital beds?what happened in school?

I sighed and called him.

" Dad,he's sick..."

"Yeah I got that sherlock. What happened in school"

"He needs therapy dad. He's taking drugs and weed"

"What?!"

"Yeah,I found out yesterday myself"

"You didn't bother telling me?!"

"Look dad,I didn't know it would get outve hand, but now it has gotten out of hand. He might be addicted or something"

"Ok,wait,are you in school?"

"No,I'm at a cafe. I had to get called out of my Chemistry class because of him. I was pissed,I punched his car,missing his face by afew inches and drove him there. Dropped him off at the parking lot.
I couldn't go back to school pissed off, so I came here to cool down"

"Wow!I'm proud"

"Of my pissed off mode or how I dropped him off?"

" both. Yeah,you're more hot headed than me"

"Can we just not talk about this right now dad,I'm trying to get calmed down"

"Alright,bye. Take care" I cut the call as I sighed in annoyance.

"A penny for your thoughts", looking up I'm met with the same deep blue eyes I've met before.
His voice is deep,his neck is covered in tatooes and so are his arms.
He's so fucking hot.
