"I don't wanna ask Brendon for help." I whine childishly, trying to keep quiet so Brendon would not be able to hear what I was saying from outside his room as I start stomping my feet a few times, throwing my arms around carelessly to get my point of not wanting to go to Brendon for help across to Frank so that he will think up another way for us to get out of here together. Of course, Frank wasn't that soft, obviously have been taught not to back down on something he really wanted.
Asshole.
"This is your only chance to get out, Gerard. If you don't even want to take it, you're not seeing your family again. Brendon's our way out," Frank speaks in a hushed voice, incase there was someone near by and he takes ahold of my wrist as he pulls me in closer, "And now that I found someone that was up for the idea when it first came out, I'm not letting you back out of this. You're in it with me. You can't take that back, alright?" Frank stares at me with wide, innocent eyes, he looked hurt at the possibility of me leaving him on this objective we have.
"I can't pretend that I can't hear you. Get your asses in here." Brendon calls out from inside his room as I could just tell he was smirking as he spoke. Frank rolls his eyes at the door before pulling me in, Frank sitting on the bed beside Brendon and leaving me stood in the middle of the room, incapable of choosing what to do. Both of them stared up at me, watching me as I found it difficult to make a choice of what to do in such a simple action.
"Gerard, just sit here, it's not hard." Brendon laughs, watching me calm down as I take two long strides to the bed, sitting down beside him. Brendon's hand finds it's way into mine and he squeezes it, somehow finding out that it would help calm me down, "Now..." Brendon starts off, looking at me then back at Frank, before he turns his attention back to me, "Because I find you quite reliable and I feel as if you can be trusted, I'm managing to find it within my cold, black, dead little heart to help you two sons of bitches out on this stupid quest you seem to have come up with."
Frank looks at me pointedly with a smirk, as if to say 'I told you so' before he stands up, "Don't get up as if we're gonna leave right now. We need to plan it all out first, Frank. Some things like this aren't something you can half ass and balls up mid-quest-" Frank turned back around with a sullen expression, clearly annoyed at Brendon for making him spend some extra time in here when there was the chance of leaving right now. Of course we all wanted to leave right now, but this was Brendon's 'expedition', we couldn't lead someone else's mission.
"If you think we can just get up when it's almost curfew, find our way out of here and go our separate ways in mere minutes, you're wrong." Brendon lets go of my hand to stand up, chest to chest with Frank as if it was some kind of stare down just to protect their masculinity and honour, Frank somehow seeming to lose their stupid little competition straightaway just by default, his height making him look so tiny in comparison to Brendon who seemed to be towering over him.
"Don't fight like you're in the wild. How old do you think you are?" Brendon laughs at my words, seconds before he chest bumps into Frank to send him flying onto the floor with a cringe-worthy crash. I refrain from going to help Frank up and see if he was okay, I already knew that it would just fuel Brendon's ego and make him feel even better about himself, so I look up at Brendon, tilting my head to the side as he done the same, "Are you gonna help us do this now, or never?"
"I'm bringing Ryan with me whether you like it-" Brendon's head snapped around to glare right at Frank still on the floor, "-or not. Trust me when I say you won't do it without me. I am bringing Ryan with us and getting him outta here, once and for all." Frank makes a sound of disgust and rolls his eyes at the new body added to the escape count, clearly not wanting more than three people on this trip out of here, "So have you got a problem with that, Frank? Do you have an objection to my boyfriend escaping with me, you and your boyfriend?"
Frank rolls his eyes again and pushes himself off of the floor, looking at Brendon as a stare down for a few seconds before walking to me, bending so his lips could reach my ear, "As soon as that asshole breaks us out of this shit hole, we are going to kill him and Ryan, then hide away from everyone for the rest of our lives." Frank hesitates for a moment before deciding on pressing a kiss to my cheek. He pulls back, hastily making his way out of the door and out of my sight.
Brendon waited a few moments before he came and sat down beside me on the bed, throwing an arm around me, "If your dumbass of a boyfriend keeps it up, he'll certainly be murdered by the end of this month." Brendon grins and slouches back into the pillow as he props his legs up into my lap, "But enough of my next meal, how are your bite marks? I didn't go too deep, did I?" Naturally, my hand goes up to protect the dressings which were protecting my wounds that Brendon had put there for me only recently, "They could be better, or the could not exist, both would be nice." Brendon smiles at my sarcasm and rolls his eyes at me.
"I just needed to find out whose side Frank happened to favour: mine or yours. I wasn't too sure on his position of reliability so I had to. No hard feelings?" I stare at him in utter disbelief, unable to take in that he didn't even do it in spite of me, but instead to find out if Frank liked me enough to choose me over Brendon if push came to shove.
"And you didn't think just asking him where he stood with us would've been just as effective?"
Brendon shakes his head, a smile playing on his lips, "Men, they seem to deny every single thing until they're caught out. Besides, have you gotten around to asking him about Andy?" I shift around on my butt awkwardly as I begin to avoid Brendon's gaze. He catches on and lets out a laugh, removing his legs from my lap and he pushes himself off of the bed and towards the door, "I advise you to ask what it is that your little boyfriend seems to get up to, Gee."
And with that, Brendon left me sitting on his bed, alone.
