Yuna's Pov:

"Yuna!! help!" Lisa pleaded with her hands tied behind her back and rusty chains bound her legs together rendering her incapable of movement. She struggled to set herself free, her eyes brimming with tears as she stared at me. 

I sat up straight my eyes wide open in shock, small beads of sweat trickled from my forehead becoming one with my tears. I felt helpless. I roamed my hands around the silk blanket that covered me, trying to divert my attention from the matter at hand in order to stop myself from crying.

"Had a nightmare?" 

I blinked my eyes multiple times, as i focused my attention on the figure that entered  the tent. 'Jungkook? Why is he still bothering with me?' i questioned myself, turning my head to the side so that he will not be able to see my tears.

I took a deep breath to stabilize my shaking voice before asking him;

"Why do you care?"

Avoiding eye contact with him I began to analyze my surrounding. I was sitting on top of a teal colored sleeping bag inside a  4″ x 17″ tent, near the sleeping bag laid a neatly arranged bundle of clothes followed by  a stack of small dried sticks. Other than that the tent was basically empty meaning that they'll be leaving soon.

"Your my mate, do i need an excuse to care?" he duly answered me, slowly making his way towards me. 

I stiffened as his cologne filled up my nostrils and I involuntarily started sniffing the ear to be waffled more by the enchanted smell . I mentally slapped myself  trying to regain my conscious and crossed my finger in hope that Jungkook didn't notice my action. However, the smirk on his face stated otherwise.

Irritated by him, I stood up.

"Stop acting as if you didn't kill my parents" I stated as I glared at him. I had to get out of here and find Lisa, but I couldn't risk giving him a clue about my actions because if he ever got ahold of Lisa he would use her against me for his advantage. 

"Well I never did" he stated with an expressionless face.

"You sure enjoyed it when they were killed in front of you!" I said raising my voice as I gradually started moving back towards the entrance, planning my escape. But I was clearly underestimating my mate, because he moved at the speed of light and grabbed me by my right arm, jerking me towards his body. 

"You better let go!"

"Or else what?"  he replied clearly amused by the entire situation. He raised his other hand and tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear, he then bent himself down to my height and locked his eyes with mine.

"I won't let go"

His grip tightened.

"Not until you pay for my father's death" he said coldly.

I gulped, not because I was afraid but because I knew that he would never believe me if I told him my parents never murdered his father, the late alpha and my parents were just casualties of the aftermath created by his mother.

"Alpha! I've contacted Hye-Ra and informed her that we'll be arriving soon. We will depart as soon as you command" a male voice from outside reported, disturbing our conversation.

"We're leaving now!" Jungkook responded still studying me. The intensity of his glare added further  surety to his statement, it was clear he wasn't going to back out of this.

I twisted my hand out of his grip and poked my index finger on his chest as I retaliated:

"Well two can play this game, Jungkook-shi"

I smiled hiding my broken self, but I felt confident and proud on being a reflective mirror. However, the truth we both didn't realize then was that the mirror images we both portrayed were cracked, each of us holding on to the edge trying to save it from falling apart and trying to not get too close at the same time.

The pandemic has literally halted every activity. 

It's a crucial time for the whole humanity and since no vaccine has yet been discovered the only thing we can do is self-care and follow proper hygiene.

Wash your hands! Try to stay away from social gatherings!  Just don't go out in general.
