Yuna's Pov:

I looked down the window again. Jungkook had dragged me back to the pack and locked me up in this tower the moment I stepped foot in his territory. None of the pack members, except a few patrolling werewolves, had spotted me, since the tower was located near the pack boundary and a few deltas were the only ones who were walking by this remote place when we arrived. Before I was tossed into this bland, dirty room, I had heard Jungkook prohibiting them from spreading rumors about my presence and to generally keep this a secret from the pack. All my plans of escaping before coming to the pack, were in vain. And now, the only thing I hoped for, while being here, was that my hair would grow long enough for me to climb out of the only window located in this dull, dark room.

"Rapunzel, let down your hair" I chanted as I observed the werewolves, mostly omega bustling through the area. The sun was about to set, they were most probably winding up their activities, closing their shops and counting the days earning as they made their way to their family.

I let out a sigh, as I noticed Jimin heading towards the tower while holding a tray in his hand. He was late, I hadn't eaten anything since morning and I needed my strength if I were to run away from here.

I turned around, heading to the bed. As I sat myself on the mattress I locked my eyes on the door, waiting for it to open any second now and to see the familiar silhouette of Jimin.

Being locked up here all day, was bringing out the worst in me. My mate sure knew how to torture me. While my mind was preoccupied by questions regarding Lisa's well-being, my wolf was simply going insane from not being able to see her mate. Talk about torture, I was living inside a body that wanted to oppose every logical thought. As a consequence, I had locked up my wolf cause her repeated demands to see her mate was driving me insane.

I heard the rattling sound of the bolt being unlocked and the door pushed open revealing Jimin.

"You're late"  I pouted. If anything good had happened in the past few days, it was that me and Jimins friendship had somewhat restored to its original color. But, we both wanted something out of it, he wanted me to accept Jungkook as my mate while I just wanted him to help me escape this hell.

"Sorry! I was just busy with the preparation of the upcoming Luna Ceremony"

"Oh great! Who's the Luna?" I said greedily snatching the tray from his hand and unveiling the delicious food.

"Would it kill you, to accept him as your mate." he replied back, closing the door and leaning against it as he faced me.

"Murderers are supposed to be punished not loved" I stated, grabbing the spoon ready to savour the delicious rice and kimchi.

Jimin took a deep breath, irritated by your attitude. He had tried to convince me that Jungkook didn't kill my parents, but it clearly wasn't working.

"Then why don't you reject him?"

You continued eating un-bothered by his statement.

"You don't have the guts to do that, do you? While you keep denying it, deep down inside you still have feelings for him, right? You still love-"

I slammed my spoon onto the tray.

"Love him? huh? who... me?" I mocked, pointing at myself as I looked at Jimin in disbelief.

"I wish it was that simple. Fall in love and be happy forever" I got up from the bed and made my way towards Jimin as I continued talking;

"Don't mistake my pity as love" I said staring deeply in his eyes to make sure he takes me seriously.

"Don't blame me" he responded. "Just know, he will never let you go"

We kept staring at each other, before I backed down realizing it was a stupid conversation.

"You ruined my appetite!" I said ruffling my hair locks.

He let out an amused laugh as he stepped forward to grab the tray.

"Well then, I'll take my leave Luna" he teased.

"Ugh! Don't call me that!"

As he disappeared from the door frame, I slumped back onto the bed. The sun had already set and the room was completely dark with only the a little moonlight shining through the window, illuminating the dust particles that had settled on the floor of the tiny, empty room. I roamed my eyes on the blank wall, finding it interesting as my mind replayed Jimin's word; "why don't you reject him?"

I uncomfortably shifted on the bed, annoyed by my own behavior.

"Why can't you reject him?" I said aloud to the walls.

This whole mate thing was making me lose myself. Jungkook probably wanted me to spend my time self-repenting, and as a consequence become one with my wolf's thoughts. He was teasing my wolf by not showing up for the past two days, he wanted to make sure by the time he made his appearance I would have completely succumbed to my wolf's emotions. 'Well,' I thought to myself,  'He has to do much better than locking me in an gloomy, dark room with only a single bed if he wants me.'
