TETHERED FATE (Jungkook Werewolf FF)

Preparations

I sat there with wide eyes, keenly staring at the Sun rising from abyss. It slowly started increasing in size as it presumably initiated its chase of the moon and the darkness that had enveloped the sky. If only it could do the same to the darkness en-captivating both my heart and brain.

Soon the strangely stippled sky was filled with birds and the calming silence was broken by their chirping.

I continued observing it impassively, as it rose to its peek; spreading its bleak golden rays as if they were wings. It felt as if it was smiling, it felt impossible to perceive something like that, but then again was I even in my right mind?

I was broken from my trance as I witnessed a butterfly making its way into the room from the slightly ajar window.

'How did it manage to come up so high?' I questioned my wolf, braking down the barrier I had created between us.

I couldn't possibly continue ignoring her, she was the only one who was on my side and the only one capable of saving me from this living hell.

'It must have followed the moss' she responded, avoiding the topic that concerned us the most.

I simply hummed in response, shifting my gaze to the dull, dark room I had stayed in for almost 3 days. The butterfly had simply flied in and stationed itself on the bed right beside the dishevelled blanket.

I let go of the breath I had been unknowingly holding, as I heard footsteps approaching. I once again stationed myself, facing the door and rubbed the remains of the salty tears on my cheeks.

With a familiar bolt of the lock and a click the door burst open, revealing a cheerful guy. He was familiar, it was the same guy who was with Jimin and Jungkook the day they found me. He gave me a light smile, which I gladly returned.

"Well, your days in this room have come to an end" he stated, stepping further inside the room. I chose to remain silent as my eyes were stuck on his every move.

"Taehyung's the name, a loyal Beta at service" he uttered, bowing slightly to show his respect. I raised my chin in authority, as I corrected my posture. Whether I like it or not I was the representative of this pack, I had to fit into my role if i were to make a move.

He clicked the heels of his boot together. As if in accordance a short girl with dead-straight blond hair stepped in with a bright smile.

"My mate, Hye-Ra" Taehyung coed as he gestured to the girl who was grinning from ear to ear while fondly gazing at her mate. She focused her attention to me and as if it was impossible her smile further stretched reaching to her eyes. To describe imply, if a flower could be represented by a person it would chose to be moulded in the form of this jolly, cute girl.

"I'll assist you in your preparations, Luna" she cheerfully chimed 

I balled my fists as I stood up, she immediately ran to my side helping me up.

"Jimin said it won't be easy to convince you, but I'm glad you accepted the situation" Taehyung uttered as he turned his back to the door.

I followed him with light steps. 

"I didn't accept it, I came to terms with it" I asserted in my defence, bracing myself for a long day.

He led us out of the tower. As I stepped onto the tall lush, immaculate emerald of grass my heart automatically skipped a beat and I felt my body relax. I involuntarily let out a sigh, which made the other two focus their attention on me.

"Omo! I'm sorry" Hye-Ra stated with exaggeration as she immediately signalled one of the guards to bring a pair of slippers.

"It's fine, I don't need them" I replied 

"But you would hurt your feet! You wouldn't want Alpha to see you that way!" she exclaimed with  a shock expression. 

I slightly blushed at the thought of my mate caring about me and I awkwardly shifted my gaze to the green meadows stretching endlessly before me, my eyes focused on the man from earlier who was running in our direction with a pair stout, comfortable sandals. He gently placed them in front of me. I looked intriguingly at the patterns on it's sole before slipping my feet in them.

"We should hurry" Taehyung said taking the lead once again. We went deeper into the pack, catching the attention of a few people who simply chose to stare at me as I kept my gaze focused on Tae's back not even slightly bothered by the gossip that set ablaze on my arrival.

"We're here" 

" I focused my attention on the tall building that stood next to a few old homes, it's exterior captivating my eyes. Flowers had been entwined together hiding it's hideous rusty walls. A brown, wooden door quite modern as compared to it's old walls stood blankly staring at me. I was mortified by the sense of puissance they portrayed. Hye-Ra guided me inside as she waved Taehyung farewell. 

"First we'll let you take a warm bath, then we'll tend to these beautiful locks..." she ranted endlessly touching my hair, but I wasn't focusing on her words, my interest was beguiled by the queer ladies that stood on attention in front of me.

With a slight push Hye-Ra guided me into a room with a sweet, captivating aroma. My eyes softened at the site of a small pool filled at the brim with water and a few rose petals floating on the surface. 

"We didn't know which bath bomb you would prefer, so we placed all of them on the side" one of the women stated signalling to one of the corner of the room, where I saw strange looking stones.

"We'll here is your bathrobe" Hye-Ra said placing a white, furry cloth on a black, wooden stool. I was confused by all these strange terms they were using, but before I even had a chance to protest they stormed out of the room giggling and chatting.

"She's pretty" 

"Can't wait to doll her up for our Alpha" 

"Their kids are going to be really cute" one of them affirmed and it was all laughter after that.

At the mention of kids a red tint crept on my cheeks and I looked down on my feet, fiddling with my hands.

'Aish! Would you get ready now, your highness?'

'Your no better than me' I teased my wolf as I started to strip.

It is going to be a long day. 

'But you will be in your mate's embrace at the end of it' my wolf expressed her feelings as she started jumping around in excitement.

Can't lie, I was excited too, to imagine him all dressed up in a tuxedo and looking all prepped up made my heart beat increase it's pace.

'I'll be his tonight' I let out a soft chuckle

'We'll be his tonight' my wolf corrected. 

I smiled at the thought.
