TETHERED FATE (Jungkook Werewolf FF)

~Feelings~

YUNA'S POV:

 I stood there blankly staring at his face. His expression said it all, he despised me from the core of his heart. 

"YOU!"  

I flinched as I heard him scream. His deep, dominating voice sending shivers down my spine. Despite all the odds, I wanted him to embrace me, comfort me and tell me the white lie that he doesn't blame my family for his father's murder. 

I closed my eyes letting the reality sink in; he thought of me as a ruthless killer and I knew he would go to any extreme to avenge his father's death.

I opened my eyes again to look into his brown eyes, my heart expecting to find some sort of affection and empathy reflected from them, but the only thing I saw was the crimson red shade apparent in his eyes almost as if they were ablaze with rage and a strong desire for vengeance.

The silence prevailed as he glared at me, sending me to an everlasting pit of devastation. 

My wolf pounded on the barrier I had created between us. She was in pain. I had already anticipated his next move; he was going to reject me, bash me and throw me out like a useless log.

My legs grew weak as i tried to prepare myself for the moment. 'Tried' to say the least, because I had already fragmented into a million pieces, I was losing my strength. My vision blurred and my wolf finally got the chance to break down the mind barrier.  As she did so my thoughts flooded with all the emotions I had blocked out. My mind dived into the depth of its barrier, my eyes rolled to the back of my head and I let the gravity do its work on me as I let my body fall to the ground.

JUNGKOOK'S POV:

'It must have been a mistake. How can she be alive? Most importantly why was she my mate?' I thought to myself. The scenario of my father's death replayed in my mind causing the burning itch of revenge, that had long settled in my mind, to resurface. 

Anger took over me the more I focused on her figure and yet they say the moment you look at your mate your suppose to feel euphoric and blessed beyond words.  My alpha wolf was beginning to take over.

Completely possessed by my rage, I did not notice her stagger. 

But the second her soft blue eyes closed I realized she was about to faint so I ran towards her in order to save her from the impact. 

I caught her in my arms before her body hit the ground. As my hands touched her an ecstatic feeling overwhelmed me. My eyes stared in admiration at her soft features, her strong brows followed by a small, straight-edged nose and her prominent elegantly-defined jaw. 

Above all else, she was my mate and I had to keep her safe. I secured her in my arms as I gently picked her up ready to take her back to our camp.

"You need to explain" Jimin demanded as he pointed toward Yuna. While, Taehyung simply hummed in agreement.

I shifted Yuna closer to my chest, to keep her warm and safe, completely ignoring Jimin in the process as Yuna's health was my utmost priority.
