(Sarah's P.O.V)

I dozed off for what felt like minutes, but I glanced at the clock when I awoke from intensifying knocks on my front door and found that I had been sleeping for 2 hours.

After a few seconds of processing what was going on, I jumped up, put on my robe, and raced to the door.

"Who is it?" I called out. I wasn't sure if talking to whoever was on the other side of the door was the safest thing to do.

"Rob!" He responded.

I reached for the doorknob, but I hesitated slightly. The knocks on the door and the tone of his voice were manic. What If he's trying to hurt me? He's probably upset about earlier so now he's on the other side of the door waiting to kill you...good going, Sarah.

"Gonna let me in?" He asked, sounding calmer than he did seconds ago.

I opened the door and he let himself in without a word.

"Um, what brings you over?" I asked, awkwardly.

He looked at me in confusion. "Well, we were supposed to be meeting at my place tonight, but you weren't returning my calls so I figured something was wrong."

"Oh shoot! I completely forgot! Could we take a rain check?" I asked, not wanting to piss off the 6 foot giant in front of me.

"Yeah, that's fine. Just making sure everything is alright," He said, looking me up and down.

"All good over here," I said.

He gave me a forced smile then began to look around like a detective studying a crime scene.

"Looking for something?" I asked, jokingly.

I was already super freaked out, but panic mode began to set in when he began casing my apartment. He still didn't say anything, only gazed at me and kept looking around like he was invited.

Well...he technically was invited, but at the same time, he wasn't sooo.

Well, That doesn't matter dumbass, it doesn't give him any excuse to come in here and act all weird!

But I am technically leading him on, had I not sent him that email earlier, this wouldn't be happening!

There you go blaming yourself for shit you didn't fully cause.

Aha! so you are admitting this is your fault.

Whatever.

I was so occupied arguing with myself that I didn't realize that he wasn't even in the living room anymore.

"Rob?" I called out, frantically, speed-walking through my house.

I checked the bathroom, the kitchen, and my room, he was nowhere to be found. I looked out the front door and his car wasn't parked in my driveway anymore.

I checked every inch of the apartment about 6 times before I finally settled down. Surprisingly, the fact that a whole human disappeared from my home didn't surprise me. After all, It wasn't the craziest thing that happened that day.

I still wasn't sure how I felt about the chain of events that happened earlier. I wanted to pursue those feelings so bad but I already took it too far. At least I knew she's interested though.

Still spooked from Rob's "disappearance" I decided to call my sister and ask her to stay over.

"Yeah," she answered, breathily.
