I didn't snap out of my haze until we got out of the bathroom, I don't know what came over me, but something did.

"What the hell was that?!" She said in a quiet yell.

"Huh..?" I say, confused.

"You completely froze up in there, now she's never gonna like you, you stared at for a good 10 seconds and didn't say shit." She said.

"Urgh!" I yelled, banging my head into a locker.

"Hey, relax." She said, grabbing my shoulders and leading me away from the lockers.

I was embarrassed at this point. I stood there and stared at the girl the whole time, even after she said something to me! I'm pretty sure I was red. She was probably freaked out and never wanted to talk to me again, I am such a freak.

"What was that?" She said.

"I don't know." I said, sliding down the wall and onto the floor.

"Well what were you thinking?" She said, sitting down next to me.

"I don't know what I was thinking, it's very vague.  All I could see was her, she took over my thoughts and realization, she replaced all of that: like she was life itself," I said.

"That's some pretty poetic shit," Said Nathalie with a mouthful of popcorn.

"Yes....because that's exactly what I need to hear right now," I said sarcastically. "Where'd you get popcorn from?" I asked.

"My bag, duh," She said, shoving another handful in her mouth.

The girl could EAT, but she never gained weight, which was total bullshit.

"As I was saying, she clouds my mind. I've barely even had a conversation with her and I'm all like..lovey and shit." I said, flapping my arms around.

The only response I got was crunching. I snatched the bag out of her hand and started eating it myself. As I was shoving mouthfuls of popcorn into my mouth, the girl came out of the bathroom. I froze.  She looked at me and smiled, I smiled back with my mouth still full of popcorn; she walked away with a chuckle. Shit.

"Did you see that smile she just gave you? that may be a sigh-" she looked over at me and started laughing.

"What?" I said, in a stern voice.

She didn't say anything, just kept laughing. When she laughed—when she smiled-- it was probably the most beautiful thing in the world. No homo though.

"Your make-up, plus the grease from the popcorn all over your cheeks-" she broke out into more laughter.

Now I was really freaking out, is that why she chuckled at me? Did I look that trashy that it made her laugh? Was I dying right now? How did life start with only Adam and Eve if they only had two sons..where'd the other kid come from..? THE BIBLE'S INCEST.

"It would never be that funny." I said, throwing her popcorn on the ground.

"Hey! My popcorn!" She said, aborting her laughter and grabbing her popcorn back

"Did you see which room she went in?" I asked, leaning forward to see if she was still in the hallway.

"Did you see my innocent popcorn that you threw on the ground?" She said asked.

Paying no mind to her question, I stood up confidently, ready to find this mystery girl and make her mine.

"Woah, where ya going?" She asked, pulling me down back next to her.

"To go find her and  talk to her," I said.

She burst out start laughing again.

"What?!" I asked.

"You wanna talk to her like that?" She asked.

"Well, I don't have anything to make myself up," I said, in a pouty tone.

"First of all, you can start by wiping all that grease off your cheeks, honey." She said.

I wiped the grease off.

"Second of all, you know I carry my makeup everywhere, I got you, boo." She said standing up and reaching her hand out to mine.

I grabbed her hand and she led me into the bathroom. After she did my makeup she finally turned me around. There was a dead silence.

"So..whatchu think girl..?" She said, waiting for my reaction.

"I thought you said you were good at this," I said.

"You ungrateful son of a—" she took a deep breath. "Do your own damn makeup then," She said.

She threw her makeup brush to me and I began working my own magic. I was pretty satisfied with myself, it was the best I'd done in a while..this girl must've really been giving me superpowers.

"So whattaya think?" I asked, giving her my biggest smile.

"I think that you should never smile like that again, but other than that,  go get her girl!" She said.

And I, in fact, was.
