A/N So I know that I need to finish my Starstruck story but I'm having serious writers block with that one but I will get it don eventually! But for now please enjoy this one cause I'm super excited about it.

Nini POV:

I have only been back in Salt Lake for about two hours but I already feel home. Being in Denver has been so much fun and school is amazing but it just doesn't feel like where I'm supposed to be. No one knows this, not even my moms, but I have been thinking about moving home for about two weeks now. Being back here just feels right. 

Ricky and I are currently in his car on the way to Ashlyn's. He is driving with one hand on my thigh. I look over at him and smile until I realize something is wrong. He seems distracted and confused.

"Ricky, baby are you okay?"

"Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine." He looks at me and smiles but I know he's lying.

"Ricky, tell me the truth." We then pull up at the party and he takes his hand off my thigh and put the car in park.

"I don't really want to talk about it right now. I just want to go have a fun time with our friends and talk about it later." He says and leans over and kisses my cheek. I smile and he gets out and comes around to open my door. He grabs my hand and we walk inside.

"There's the power couple of the evening!" E.J. shouted over the High School Musical songs playing in the background.

Ricky POV:

We have been at the party for about 45 minute and E.J. says we should play truth or dare and everyone agrees. The first person to go was Nini.

"Nini truth or dare?" Asks E.J.

"Um...Truth!" 

"Okay... How are you liking YAC?"

"Well um... actually I really like it but I am thinking of moving back to Salt Lake!" Everybody gets really excited and I freeze. This can not be happening no, no, no!

"Ricky... truth or dare." She looks at me with a smile.

"Uhh...d-dare." I say shaking.

"Okay, I dare you to tell me whats really going on and why you seem so upset." Well there is no escaping this.

"Um, it's about my talk with Tony Hawk. He offered me a spot on his team to go pro. It would mean that I would be traveling around Europe for competitions and I would have to drop out of East High." I see Nini begin to tear up and run out the door.

"NINI! Babe wait!" I yell running after her. I walk out the door and see her crying with her head in her hands. I sit down next to her and rub circles on her back.

"W-why didn't you t-tell me?" She sobs.

"I didn't know how. Why didn't you tell me you were thinking about moving back?"

"I wanted to surprise you." 

"Nini, I won't go if you don't want me too."

"No Ricky I want you to go. It's just gonna be really hard for you to be that far, I was only in Denver your gonna be in Europe." I pull her close to me and she buries her face in my neck.

"I know baby. I don't even know if I want to go." 

"Yes you do." She's right I really want to do this and I feel like I need to.

"Okay you're right I do want to do this and I really feel like it's something I need to do."

"I think you do, I mean I'm going to miss you more than you can even imagine but I know this is what you have been working for since we were in seventh grade."

"Thank you princess, I'm going to miss you more." 

Now that I know I have Nini's approval there is just one person I need to talk to. MY DAD!
