Stay

Rick POV:

Today Nini is going home. Ash decided to stay on tour with Big Red and I because she can do all of her classes online but Nini doesn't know that. 

As I stand in the middle of the airport hugging my girlfriend I start thinking, "Why doesn't she just stay here with me?"

"I don't want you to leave."

"I know baby, I don't either." 

"Then stay." She pulls away and looks me in the eyes.

"What?"

"Stay."

"You know I can't do that it wouldn't be fair to Ashlyn an-"

"Actually I'm staying with Big Red. I can do all of my classes online." Ashlyn explains.

"Please. We're going to Nice next, you've always wanted to go there."  (Just thought i'd explain. Nice is pronounced as Neece. It is a city in southern France.)

"Ricky I- I can't I have a plane to catch. I love you." She kissed me on the cheek, grabbed her stuff and walked away.

"I love you too." I whispered to myself.

Nini POV:

There it is, my gate. Behind those doors is the plane taking me back to my moms and my friends but not my boyfriend. I can't help but think about Ricky's voice and those words.

"Stay." 

His flight to Nice doesn't leave for another hour. I pull out my phone and call my moms.

"Mama C?"

"Hi honey shouldn't you be on a plane?"

"Actually about that. Can I stay?"

"What!?"

"I can do my classes online, Ashlyn is staying, there are no more drama productions, and I want to be with Ricky. He did so good the past couple days with me being here and I ju-"

"Nini honey you can stay."

"WAIT WHAT!? REALLY?!" An old man reading a book looks at me and glares. I mouth a quick sorry and get back to my conversation.

"We trust you. You can stay. Be safe"

"Oh my gosh thank you so much mama! I will. I love you."

"You're welcome. We love you too have fun." I hang up the phone and run back to where everyone else is waiting for their flight.

Ricky POV:

We are sitting on a bench waiting for our plane to get called and Ashlyn is rubbing my back as I rest my head in my hands thinking about how stupid I am.

"I really fucked up Ash."

"No you didn't. I'm sure it's just because she just got back from Denver and isn't ready to leave again."

"Yeah I guess."

"Ricky?" I look up to see the most beautiful brown eyes that I had just said good bye to.

"Nini what are you doing, You're plane is le-" I was interrupted by her smashing her lips to mine. 

"I'm staying." My jaw drops.

"Are you serious?" She nods her head and I reconnect our lips. I pick her up and spin around. "YEEESSSS!!!!!!!" I yell and it echoes through the airport.

"Sshh." 

"Flight 247 to Nice is now boarding."

"That's us." This is going to be the best 5 months ever!
