High School is History

The Love Story!

Every body is hanging out in the lobby of the hotel talking and just celebrating the big win.

"Okay Ricky and Nini, I think you us owe us a story." Chris says. Ricky just shakes his head and laughs.

"What do you mean?" Asks Nini.

"When I first met the team I had told them about you and about our break up and they had a lot of questions and I told them it was a story for another time and it looks like that time has finally come." Nini just nods still a little concerned. "Okay babe where should we start?"

"Hmmm I think we should start with the beginning of last summer." She says giving him a side stare.

"Ugh why you gotta call me out like that babe." Ricky wines as he lays down in her lap.

"Bro I'm so fucking confused right now." Jason says.

"Sorry, Okay let's see. Let's start June of last summer" Ricky starts as he sits up and wraps his arm around Nini's shoulders. "We are hanging out in Nini's room, i'm laying in her lap watching skate videos and she told me to check my Instagram. When I open it there is a post of her singing a song she wrote called 'I Think I Kinda You Know'." Nini interrupts.

"Before he continues to the next part I want you guys to remember that his parents had been fighting a lot and he had a lot going on at home."

"Correct."

"Why is that important?" Logan asks.

"You'll see in a minute. So as I'm sitting there watching the video I start realizing what she is trying to say-"

"Do you still have the video?" Bobby asks. Nini nods, pulls out her phone, and opens Instagram. She turn her phone to the boys and lays it on the table.

(Pretend its just the Instagram video lol)

"Awww." The team says in unison.

"Yeah I know my girlfriend's adorable. Now back to the story. After the video ends she looks at me and says..." Ricky gesture to Nini to continue. She looks him in the eyes and says.

"I do Ricky, I love you." A small smile spreads across his face.

"I love you too." He says as he slowly starts leaning in until their lips touch.

"Ahem." They both pull apart and blush in embarrassment. "The story?" Mark exclaims. Ricky clears his throat and continues to speak.

"Yeah sorry I got a little distracted. Um so after she said that I wanted to say it back so bad and I tried but when I open my mouth what comes out is the word oh. Then to make things worse, when she asked me about it I said something like that was a big thing to post online. And at this time she was about to leave for drama camp and I wasn't gonna see her for a month. So I said that we should take a temporary pause." Nini continues speaking in his place.

"So that's almost exactly what we did. As you can tell it was obviously temporary but no so much a pause. When I went to camp I ended up meeting this guy named E.J. We met because the lead for our play got food poisoning and I was her understudy so I ended up going on as his love interest then we started dating. Then when the first day of school rolled around Ricky thought we were going to get back together and pick up where we left off." Ricky scratches the back of his neck and chuckles.

"Boy was I wrong."

"Later that day we found out the school got a new drama teacher who was doing a production of High School Musical, because we go to the school it was filmed at. Well "Mr. I Hate Musicals" over here decides he is going to audition to try and win me back. So he shows up late to auditions and is forced to try out for Chad and completely bombed it." Nini says as she busts out laughing.
