Ricky POV:

Nini and I just left the party and are on the way to my house. Her moms agreed to let her stay with me for the week she was in town as long as she stopped by the house every once and a while. We pull up to my house and I park my car in the driveway.

"Dad, I'm home and Nini is with me!" I yell as we walk in the door.

"Hey kiddo, Nini!" He pulls her in to a big hug.

"Hi Mr. Bowen, it's good to see you."

"Ricky?" A familiar voice says from behind me. I turn and turn to see it's......

"Mom?" I say excitedly as I run to her and she wraps me up in her arms. We are a lot closer again after the whole Todd situation I eventually forgave her and even learned to get along with Todd. "I missed you so much mom."

"I missed you too Ricky."

"Um I need to talk to you guys about something" I said as I pulled out of the hug with my mom and went over to grab Nini's hand as we walked to the dinning room table. My parents followed and sat across from us on the other side of the table. Nini could tell I was nervous so she placed her hand on my thigh in a way to calm me down.

"Ricky, son is everything okay?" My dad asked.

"Well, actually everything is amazing. I have been offered an amazing opportunity."

"And what's that honey?" Asked my mother.

"When we were leaving the competition today I was stopped by Tony Hawk and he offered me a spot on his team to go pro. I would be traveling around Europe and unfortunately I would have to drop out of East High. I know that you want me to finish high school but I really want to do this. I have been working so hard for this for so long."

"Honey that's amazing! I absolutely think that you should go!" Said my mom.

"I agree son, but have you asked your girlfriend how she feels about this."

"We talked about it at the party Mr. Bowen and I already told him I want him to go." Nini chimed in.

"Well in that case you better go give Mr. Hawk a call and tell him you except his offer." I jumped out of my seat with my hands on my head.

"OH MY GOD ARE YOU SERIOUS! I CAN GO?"

"Of course, we want you to follow your dreams." my parents said. I ran to the other side of the table and gave them the biggest hug.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm gonna go call him right now!" With that I grabbed Nini's hand and pulled her with me to my room.

We enter my room and I close the door behind me. and pull out my phone and the card with Tony's number on it. I dial the number and in two rings he answers the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Tony it's Ricky I just called to say.........I accept your offer."
