Stressed
Tired
Worried
Those were the exact words to describe the way Arabella Rhodes was feeling, she was awake almost all night studying for her geography test and she still felt unprepared --but who feels prepared for tests anyways?--. She woke up 15 minutes before classes began and was currently rushing to class with a cup of coffee in her hands. She thought she was going to run into Hope before classes to see how her recruiting trip was, but luck really wasn't on her side that day. Hope still hadn't texted or called her since she left and she was beginning to worry and wonder where her tribrid friend was.
Mr. Williams is going to kill me she repeated in her head as she ran down the halls of the Salvatore Boarding School and chugged the coffee she snuck out from the teacher's lounge. Arabella had two minutes to get to chemistry class and after skipping a whole day of classes last week because she wanted to have a movie day with Hope, the headmaster and all the teachers were being really strict with her.
"Hey loser!" She stopped walking at the sound of Jed's voice, she cringed and with a sigh turned to face him. "Bella, wait up."
"Jed I have to get to class." She tried to reason with the werewolf, the teacher was surely gonna have her head if she was late. "Like, I really need to get to class." She tried to turn around and continue to find her way to the chemistry class, but he grabbed her arm to stop her.
"I have news." Jed grinned knowingly at the witch, she cringed at the look on his face, that look was never good.
"Can it wait?" She asked tiredly as she tried to tug her arm away from him. "If I'm late Dr.Saltzman will have my head."
He continued talking no matter how hard she tried to get away, "So I heard that there's going to be a new wolf. You know what that means my little witchy friend?"
"No," She gasped in realization. "Come on, please don't make me. It'll be torture." She and Jed had made a bet that if the new kid was a werewolf, she had to go to the party that was being held that night. She didn't like that part of the bet but she had a higher chance of winning so she agreed to it.
Josie, Lizzy, Jed, and even Hope had been trying to make Arabella go to a party for the longest kind of time. She didn't go to parties, she despised them actually. She found that they were too loud and there were too many people. Everyone is always really close to each other, it's like a can of sardines, she didn't know how people even danced. Parties also always smelt like alcohol and sweat and that's the worst combination in Arabella's opinion. The last party she attended was a surprise birthday party for her 15th birthday that Lizzy and Josie planned for her. If she knew they were going to throw her a party and invite the whole school, she wouldn't have left the comfort of her dorm room to meet Josie at the clubhouse because of an 'emergency'.
