Arabella was brought out of her dream about Patrick Swayze with a thump on the floor, "Wake up."
She rubbed her head slightly disoriented as she peered over the side of her bed at the culprit, who was already up and ready into her uniform. Arabella glared at Hope wishing that the tribrid would have just left her alone to sleep peacefully. After seeing her sleepy glare, Hope sent her an overly sweet smile.
Arabella huffed, annoyed with her rude awakening, and slowly stood up. Her head throbbed a little due to Hope pushing her off the bed but she was sure it would go away, she was a witch after all. Arabella stretched her muscles that were unbelievably stiff from the unusual amount of physical activity she got the day before. She needed to remind herself to work out a little more, maybe attend gym class more often.
"Did you have to push me off the bed?" She groaned as she brushed her tangled hair and threw it into a high ponytail, she didn't have the energy to actually fix her hair that morning.
Hope grinned as she made up the bed, "Yup, now get ready before we're late."
Arabella sighed, she grabbed her clothes, quickly changing from her pajamas. As she was tucking her long-sleeve white button-up blouse into her high waisted plaid skirt Hope spoke up with a smirk plastered on her face, "So, you never told me what happened with Jed last night."
Arabella stopped for a second but then grabbed her Salvatore school blazer from a chair, she shook her head as heat rose to her cheeks, "I don't know what you're talking about."
Hope raised an eyebrow as she looked unconvinced by Arabella's answer. "I know when you're lying Bells."
Arabella sighed, she sat down on her bed and rolled her long socks up her legs, "I kissed him."
"What?" Hope gasped as if it was so surprising that she could kiss someone. Arabella scoffed at her attitude, slightly offended, was it that surprising that someone would kiss her? Maybe it was, considering she never dated anyone in two years. That was only because she was afraid history might repeat itself and she never, ever wanted to feel the way she did when Daniel cheated on her, again.
She was heartbroken, but she also felt stupid for not noticing it before Lizzy ran to her dorm and told her about it. Turned out almost the whole school knew except for Lizzy, Hope, and Josie, Arabella's only friends at the time. Everyone was sure not to tell her or her friends, that's probably why she didn't find out before. Daniel was also very good at hiding everything from her.
After seeing Arabella's defensive reaction Hope quickly recovered from her initial shock, "Okay, but why?"
Arabella shrugged she was just as confused about why she did it as Hope, "I don't even know what came over me, it happened so quickly." She stood up and checked herself in the mirror, she looked fine enough to forget the makeup for that day. She grabbed her bag and walked towards the door, "We'll talk about this later, right now we have to be in class."
