"No, you're not going," Hope shook her head defiantly at Arabella. The girl was begging her friend to let her go on the road trip to find Landon but Hope wouldn't give in. Arabella had woken up early that morning to try and persuade Hope to let her go, she began asking her through text. When that didn't work she walked down the hall to Hope's dorm and followed her through the school, bugging Hope about allowing her to help find Landon. Arabella knew Dr.Saltzman wouldn't let her go but if Hope told him Arabella could he might agree. He trusted Hope better than anyone else in the school, even his own daughters.
"Hope, I'm going no matter what you say," Arabella told her with a shrug. "I even told Lizzy and Josie I wasn't able to play the game today." When Hope's annoyed expression didn't change, she scoffed. "I'll find a way, I'm gonna go, one way or another."
"You can try." Hope gave her a look that said she didn't think Arabella would find a way to go on the mission. It wasn't that Hope didn't want her best friend to go, she would enjoy it if Arabella joined them. It was dangerous though, they didn't know what Landon was capable of and Hope didn't want Arabella getting hurt. When Hope thought her friend wasn't going to pry harder, she spun on her heel and walked down the hallway.
Arabella waited until Hope was out of sight before looking around the hallway for a certain werewolf. She grinned mischievously when she saw Rafael walking down the hall with an angry expression. He looked livid, and she had an idea of why he may be mad.
"Hey Raf." Arabella called, she wore a bright and cheery expression hoping to lift his mood. He raised his head at the sound of his name but continued down the hall anyways. Arabella rolled her eyes, he ignored her, and that wasn't going to happen again. She was glad she didn't wear her uniform that day because it made it easier to chase him through the hallway.
When she finally reached Rafael she looped her arm through his, he frowned at her. Before he would have grinned or laughed at the overly enthusiastic look on her face but his expression didn't change one bit.
"Why so serious?" Arabella asked jokingly, hoping to lift the mood, it didn't help though.
Rafael glanced at her, he then quickened his pace trying to get out of her grasp. Arabella didn't budge though, she stopped and tugged on his arm to make him face her. When he finally turned she sighed, "Did they tell you that you weren't allowed to go either?"
Right after she finished the question Rafael lifted his head with furrowed brows and nodded, "Yeah Hope told me it was just her and Dr.Saltzman going." He stopped for a second before asking, "Do you want to go too?"
She smiled sweetly at him, "Yes, and I know how they're gonna let us go." Rafael laughed at the evil look on her face. He didn't know what she had planned up but he knew it was good just by the look in her eyes. He nodded at her words and let her guide the way through the school.
