chapter 43: A new war and old enemies

Percy pov
While I was talking with Sadie, Chiron sent us an Iris message (basically a video call using water or mist) telling us to come to Olympus. I turned to Sadie and asked her " ready to meet my extended family?" "Yep." She answered. We took a taxi to the empire state building and we got up to the 600th floor quickly (after I threatened to fill up the front desk's sinuses with urine that is) which gave me a surprise when I saw who was there. It was my old friend Rachel.

I asked Poseidon why we were called to Olympus, he said it was about our relationship. And then I noticed that Zeus was arguing with someone who had a gold and silver eye. 'Probably Horus' I thought remembering Sadie's description of him.

I cleared my throat and got everyone's attention. I asked someone to explain what was going on, and Zeus had the nerve to say "Simple, you are going to break up with the Egyptian or we will kill her." Now I saw why he was having that argument earlier. I told them "No." When suddenly Scipio Africanus arrived and attacked Sadie.

Sadie pov
I was impressed when Percy stepped up to protect me (even though I can take care of myself, I still found it kind of cute) he looked like he could best Horus at sword fighting. This had proved to be quite the battle ordeal. Percy was fighting like a demon, the battle had been going for 2 hours and Percy didn't break a single drop of sweat (I could only imagine what he's like in bed), Scipio Africanus looked tired, but then again he was wearing full Roman armour while Percy was only wearing a plain old blue t-shirt.

----Time skip: After battle----

Percy pov

After I defeated Scipio Africanus I walked over to Zeus and punched him hard enough that his jaw broke. Of course, he didn't die being immortal and all, but everyone was shocked that I would even think about breaking the jaw of the king of the gods. I was about to knee Zeus in the face, but Apollo stopped me and told me that there is a prophecy about a new war, against an unknown enemy. Rachel's eyes turned a bright lime green colour and she said the prophecy which went like this " When the moment comes that what is green turns red, a woman of grey shall usher forth the rise of two empires and the destruction of culture. When the day comes that the mark of the one becomes the mark of many, the prophet shall bring forth an eternal night and the beginning of a better future. It shall be on the day that trees shed their leaves, a new bond shall bring forth an age of fury and the rise of hope. When the time comes that the sky burns with fire, a suspicious accident shall bring forth the fall of a false god." The prophecy got me a bit worried seeing as they were always predicting some sort of apocalypse.

Finally I can get rid of those annoying little Kane slovochs. Now to start with the incantation. Attenrobendum eos, ad consiendrum, ad ligandum eos, potiter et solvendum, et ad, congregontum eos, 'coram me. Cronus, Apophis et Terra, esto subjecto voluntati meae.

Sadie pov
I was having a wonderful gym class when suddenly a blonde kid decided to play dress up with his friends. Only they meant to do harm seeing as they were heavily armed with spears, swords, daggers, bows and arrows. He introduced himself saying "I am Octavian. Centurion of the first cohort, the pontifex maximus at the temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus, and descendant of Caesar." Huge ego with this guy. He then attempted to rape me until someone smacked him with a big round object.

Percy pov
I saw Octavian attempting to rape Sadie so I smacked him with my shield and forced him to turn around.  Now I was pissed. I noticed a cement maker operating nearby. So I decided to Sparta kick Octavian into the cement mixer. I comforted Sadie and told her not to look.
