I tensed when the sound of knocking echoed through the house. Guess they're here.

"Go answer it, greet our guests properly," Dad yelled. I hurried over to the door to let them in.

First came in my aunt and uncle, who both gave me sickly-sweet fake smiles. My baby cousin followed them. She seemed unsure of how to look at me so far, but seemed to get the message that she wasn't supposed to like me. Then my older cousin. The one who had... done the thing with—to—me. He was walking with his friend, and his dad, and my jaw dropped when I saw who the friend was.

Bus guy? Un-fucking believable! Of course it was him. Why wouldn't it have been him? They both smirked at me, and my stomach dropped. I gulped. Kat and Ei won't let them do anything. They promised.

"Hi," I all but whispered in an attempt to 'welcome' them. If I was being honest, I wanted nothing more than to kick them back out the door. Or better yet, run away. Still, I shuffled in behind them. They didn't seem to mind the state that the house was in.

"Smells good, what is it?" Bus guy's dad asked.

"Tsukemen," I replied. Well, maybe it was expired, but he was right that it smelled good. Kat really worked wonders. I didn't even know what he'd done.

Speaking of Kat, he didn't look happy to see who had arrived. Neither did Ei, for that matter. "This entire house is begging to get burned down," he muttered under his breath.

"Kat," Ei reprimanded him for being too violent. Not that he disagreed, he just didn't want me to get in trouble in case it constituted as 'something stupid.'

I started to set the table, y'know, so that we'd have plates. There was a sharp tug on my hair—which hurt by the way—which nearly caused me to drop everything. That would've been bad. I looked back to see who it had been; cousin or Bus Guy? They were both standing there, though, so I wasn't sure.

"Don't be shy with lil' Denki," Inu (cousin) said to his friend. "He likes it a little rough."

I did my best to ignore them as I finished setting the table, but that was very hard to do considering they just kept trying to make me as uncomfortable as possible. As I passed them, Bus Guy just straight-up jabbed me in the side. He grabbed my wrist and muttered, so that no one could hear but me, "That was for electrocuting me." The sneer on his face grew and he tightened his grip, digging his nails into my skin. "You want me to keep the secret of who those 'friends' are, you better do what we say. No resistance allowed. Got it?"

He let go of me before I nodded or anything, so I just kept on, trying to ignore them again. Once the table was set, my Dad helped my mom into the room and announced it was time to eat. I doubted we'd all walk away from this without food poisoning, but that was fine.

As we all sat down, I started towards the seat between Ei and Kat, but Inu dragged me over between himself and Bus Guy. Well, there went all of my hope for a decent evening.

I didn't take much to eat. Knowing the assholes on either side of me, I'd probably want to leave as quickly as possible if I wanted to leave before anything too bad happened.

Lo and behold, it had started. I felt a hand on my thigh. Bus Guy's, to be specific. I did my best not to react. "Wider," he mumbled, and I (unhappily) spread my legs as far apart as I could without making it too obvious to anyone—especially Kat or Ei. He slid his hand up and got dangerously close to my no-no square. Fuck. Don't give it away, he'll get mad.

I glanced up at him. He wasn't even looking at me; he was having some conversation with my parents. Probably introducing himself. "...Meinu," was all I caught. I assumed that was his name.

He slipped his fingers into my waistband and I almost choked. Compose yourself, dumbass. "Denki?" Someone was calling my name, and it wasn't someone I cared about. Shit, I didn't take too long to acknowledge her, did I?

Thankfully, I was pretty sure my aunt had only spoken once. "You three go to U.A., don't you? How is it?"

"Good. Nice people," I replied, trying desperately to pretend that Bus Guy—Meinu—wasn't there. Which was hard when he was poking in places he shouldn't. He hadn't actually gotten *there* yet, and I was grateful for that much, at least.

"How are you doing in class? Take after your father, I assume?" she asked. To clarify, supposedly my dad was top of his class when he was in school.

"You give him too much credit, he can't even spell his own name," Mom cut in.

"Right, of course dear. What's your rank?" My aunt persisted with her completely intentional bashing.

"Last," I admitted quietly.

"What about your friends, hon?"

"Fifteenth 'n third," I muttered, my face totally flushed. I wasn't sure whether that was because of Meinu or my aunt. Both, probably.

"Hm. Maybe you'll be better next year," she said offhandedly, taking a bite.

"C'mon, that's not fair," Ei spoke up. "I mean, he's great at pretty much everything else. He learned how to play the guitar in a month! That was impressive," he offered.

"Is that the sort of useless shit they teach you in school?" My dad crossed his arms.

"It was for the culture festival. There was a whole show and everything. Everybody loved it," Ei explained.

"Unbelievable."

"What other stuff is Denki good at?" My aunt asked.

Inu mumbled, "A lot, that I'm aware of." He was ignored by the majority of the table, but wasn't spared the death glare from Kat. I tried to send him 'knock it off' vibes from my brain.

"For starters, he's great in combat," Ei said, and normally, I would've believed him. But at the moment, it was difficult to accept compliments when pretty much everyone at the table burst out laughing. Everyone except my baby cousin (Shiro), Ei, Kat, and Meinu's dad.

"We're talking about the same Denki, right? Kaminari Denki? Literally the most pathetic human to walk the earth?" Inu was on a roll now. "Great in combat, huh? How come he didn't fight back when he got cigarettes put out on him?" I flinched. "Whaled on by the heaviest book his dad could find? I missed his fighting spirit there. Hey, remember that time you got a bottle broken over your head?" By this point, even Meinu had stopped messing with me.

"Dude, maybe that's a bit far—" he started to say.

"Oh, shut up, it's not like I'm wrong. And he's not gonna fight me, I know he's not." He grabbed my face and brought his super close my mine. Like, he could literally kiss me right now without moving more than a centimeter in. "He won't do anything because he knows what happens if he tries." I was trying desperately to stay calm, but it was getting hard to breathe. Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes, but I was too scared to let them out.

He finally let go of me, shoving me a bit. I stared forward, not meeting anyone's eyes.

"Inu, stop being so mean," I heard someone say. That voice could only belong to Shiro. Honestly, I had forgotten she was even there, but I immediately felt bad. She didn't have to say anything.

"Shut it, brat, or I'll get you next," he spat back, and even I got mad for that one. How could he say that to a little girl? His own sister, no less. And what the hell did that even mean?

"Sorry," she murmured. That was the last time she spoke.
