Leaving everyone talks about it like it's so easy to do.

But with Kai being extra careful around you, you knew escaping would be ten times harder. Last time, Eri being Kai's prime focus  and strength with only a shred of your spirit intact due to the emotional injuries you suffered silently from, injuries that weren't visible like bruises or broken bones and therefore left you nothing to show in demonstration of my pain, were the reason you escaped.

This time, Kai was getting more excessive.

"Ah!" you yelled out.

The sensation of the leather belt hitting your back, tearing your clothing apart was too much to bear. She winced, biting your lip to keep from giving him the satisfaction.

Oh but he wasn't the one who could ever do that to you. No Pops wouldn't like that, so who better than the man who thrives off of fighting, Kendo Rappa.

One fist curled as he punches you square in the spine. the crunch of bone is enough to tell you what he's done, but he lives of this, so he was far from done.

Bam! The wall of concrete almost broke as Rappa slammed your face into it. Blood gushed from your nose and you let out a pathetic whimper.

"Why do you have to act so stubborn, my dear?" Kai inquired, body tightly pressed against yours despite the blood, "I told you to leave Eri alone, and you have yet to listen to me."

"L-Let go of me..." you breathed. "I...I can't...I can't ta-take it any...anymore...j-j-just kill m-me a-a-al-l-ready!"

"There you go being selfish again (Y/N), only thinking about yourself and not about others," Kai replied as she stepped away allowing another punch to hit you and caused you to go flying.

It's no use. He won't listen anyway. There's no chance to convince him to either end your life or to let you go. Either scenario 'defies Pop's wishes.'

You kept your eyes opened slightly even though she could only see the broken concrete soiled with her thick blood. It was nauseating to see and it was nauseating to think that she was standing on it, too.

"It seems like you haven't learned your lesson yet,..." A chuckle echoed throughout the room making you shiver. He moved his hand to trace the open wounds on your back and how it stung!

Hissing, Y/n attempted to struggle away from both him and Rappa but with these chains, it was impossible.

When you used to stare deep into the pools of your eyes looking for signs of life when you were in that school, you didn't correlate the ever-present unrest growing within yourheart and soul.

"Make sure you remember the punishment you will receive if you ever come near my child again," Kai said as he had left the room with Rappa right behind him boasting how he was able to let off a bit of steam.

Yet, you were lost on the idea on if this was karma for killing those innocent people back then. To outsiders it would have looked as if I didn't deserve this, but from your perspective, you deserved every bit of this torture.

The things that shaped you. The moments that turned you into exactly who you became. The horrible things that shouldn't have happened but did...you couldn't explain it.

And yet at this time, all you can think about was Izuku Midoriya.

Why out of pain and suffering that he came to your mind. He should have been the last person to come to your mind and Mirio should have been the first.

Besides, he didn't want to be your friend. He only wanted to pretend to have a friendship with you because he wanted to maintain his friendship with Mirio. And who could blame him,you threatened him when he was taking notes on your quirk, you had been nothing but cold to him...

You tried to get up and walk towards the door but only fell right after.

"How could-" you thought feeling disheartened at everything that had happened.

"You think you could be a hero after all those people you killed..."
