There was one thing you hated more than anything, more than being locked in U-A's doors, more than being behind that god awful orphanage...and that was being back at the Yakuza's hold.

Overhaul, or Kai Chisaki, was your older "biological" brother and the Leader of Shie Hassaikai.

You and him were completely different. When your mother and your father ordered you to kill everyone who had part in her death, you were given up and raised by the boss of Shie Hassaikai for a very short period of time. There you met Kai. He loved you and Chisaki and took care of you. As timed passed, he realized how troubled Chisaki had become and focused much of his attention on him. Soon he realized how distant you had become. It was often times when Kai would often lash out at anyone who badmouthed the Yakuza as a child you would run out and make new friends--meeting Mirio, but right after dealing with Kai he would quickly find you.

Once they would find you though, Kai would be beyond pissed. He wanted to hurt you, but Pops would be beyond pissed if that ever happened. So Kai made it his mission to make Pops proud in some aspect. He had to keep you in his sights, like a hawk.

But when Eri came into the picture and everyone was more focused on her, and it was a perfect opportunity for you to runaway. Sure the first few times were failed attempts because every time you tried to get through the front gate, Kai was there every step of the way. And sure you guys would fight but every time, it would end up with you sitting beside him and him disinfecting your wounds.

You belong here," he said, angry, frustrated...you peered up at him confused of course with overwhelming fear flowing through your veins, "You want to know where you belong? You belong right here with me, with Pops."

But then, you noticed one time what Kai was doing to Eri and you honestly couldn't have any association with him. That was the reason why you made it your mission to move from one orphanage to another. Near encounters with Kai would be him reminding you how sad Pops was and that being under the government's protection was something the Yakuza couldn't really try to venture through and when they did find a way, you needed to be two steps ahead of them.

You sighed and curled up into a ball of the room that you once had when you lived here. Surrounded by four white walls, there was nothing else to do but stare at them. To look at the paint that had started to chip off as time passed, or gouged by other beings that were here - anything to pass time, slowly going mad, theorizing absurd meanings from the wall's blank stare.

Every movement you attempted to make was suppressed by the shackles around your legs, when you tried to sit up something was holding your neck and wrists down.

Suddenly the door opened and in stepped Kai.

"How did you find me...," you mumbled, voice barely above a whisper as you watched him. Slowly making his way over to you while glaring daggers at you with his strikingly piercing yellow eyes.

"You can't run away from fate," Overhaul repeated, confirming your words in an uninterested drawl. It clenched your heart, your stomach, your guts and you felt breathless.

It hurt that he, too had little faith in you. But you couldn't tell him that now. It will only worsen your punishment for tonight.

"You made Pop's really depressed after all," Overhaul said, "He couldn't stop moping once you left and was under government control, he tried to get every single one of us to get you but as crafty as you were, you were always two steps ahead."

The adrenaline flew over your veins like a carp through the river, but you couldn't move a single muscle, not even to scream. The absolute horror completely paralyzed you. You knew what he was capable of and him having these restraints on you, made it impossible for you to use your quirk.

"Then you manage to get adopted by a teacher at U-A high," Kai said as he walked closer towards you, "an institution where they teach heroes how to use their quirks, a special, superhuman ability that shouldn't have been placed in this society, did you ever think you would be capable of being a hero after you singlehandedly killed those heroes the day they allowed for your mother to die."

"Kai, are you going to kill me..." You kept your gaze straight, neck aching and chest heaving with the need to breath normally. Though this fear was running rampant, him discussing that day was something you didn't need to hear coming from hi.

"No why would I put the old man through that?" Kai asked, "Unlike you, I am not inconsiderate. No, I am going to make sure you stay here and cleanse you from the filth that society has put on you. After all, pops would be proud."
