"28,Philips road, Manchester. Be safe and arrive early"Winter said
"Thank you Winter for being considerate, it's so unlike you. See you soon"Autumn replied.
Winter just rolled her eyes, a trait all the WHILTEMORE SISTERS tended to exhibit.
She entered her kitchen to fix her dinner and proceeded to the room to resume sleep.
After the call with Winter, Autumn dialled Summer's number.
"Hi Summer, how have you been?"Autumn asked.
"I'm fine Autumn, how are you? Did you call her already?what did she say? I told you we could have looked for a way to get you a room why call her?"Summer complained
"She agreed Summer, after complaining and asking if I suddenly thought she were you, you know how she grumbles a lot" Autumn answered.
"Summer, Mr King is calling me. I will call you back"Autumn said and ended the call.
"Good evening, Mr King"Autumn greeted.
"Good evening, Autumn. How's my little girl doing?"Mr King answered.
"Mr King, I'm no longer a small girl, I turned 28 already yunno. Speaking of birthdays, I got a card for my birthday instead of a usual call from dad. Err was he that busy this time?"Autumn asked, feeling somewhat forgotten.
"You would always remain my little girl and that's why I was calling. Mr WHILTEMORE is dead and your presence is needed within the week for the reading of his will." Mr King replied.
"Daddy is dead???? OMG!! When? Why? What happened? I was supposed to come visiting this weekend and why didn't Summer tell me?"Autumn asked
"He died a week ago, Autumn. An autopsy is being carried out so we can't exactly say the cause of his death yet and maybe Summer wanted you to hear it directly from me."Mr King said.
"It's fine Mr King, thank you for calling"Autumn answered
"I'm sorry for your loss Autumn but at this time you have to be strong not just for yourself but also for your family. Remember he loved you and as much as he didn't show it, he was very proud of you. Goodnight, Autumn"Mr King said and with that he ended the call.
Autumn called her driver and drove straight to the airport. She decided to save the crying for later and focus on being as strong as she could mentally because she had a presentation tomorrow and she'd be staying over at Winter's place and she didn't want Winter thinking she was weak willed.
Her flight was 9:50pm and it was just 9:00, she had about 50 mins to prep herself and she sure needed that time.
She arrived at the airport and made a beeline to the women's room and cried her eyes out,
Remembering how she postponed going home to see him because she didn't want them fighting and now she really wished she went home and they fought, it would have been a lot better than him dying. She missed him and as much as she kept her distance, she did love him. Morever, she was his last baby and she missed her daddy.
She had just finished wiping away the last bits of tears, when she heard her flight being called
AJK530 to Manchester is boarding now at Gate D5.
She quickly took her bags out of the rest room and straight to her boarding gate.
She entered the plane, deposited her bags in the compartment above and headed to her seat. She sat down and closed her eyes trying to get some sleep because she knew she needed energy if she had to deal with Winter.
It wasn't up to 30mins since she closed her eyes before the flight attendant spoke up letting them know that they would be landing soon. They were to prepare for Landing and buckle up the seat belts.
Autumn just sighed and went to the rest room to apply her make-up again.
As she came back and sat on her seat, the familiar jolt signified their landing already. She knew she would have to get a taxi as she didn't expect Winter to come pick her up from the airport. That was asking for way too much and she knew Winter wasn't that generous.
She signaled a cab, gave him Winter's address, and headed to Winter's house.
Reaching Winter's house, she found the door to the house unlocked. She entered and made a mental note to remind her sister to always lock her doors but after second thoughts she decided that it wasn't her business anyway and that's probably what Winter would tell her so she kept shut about it.
She got into the room she assumed was the guest room and brought out her laptop to check through her presentation for the last time and make sure she was prepared for her presentation and there were no errors too.
She finished with her presentation, had a quick shower and decided to arrange her stuff and set an alarm for 6 so she could leave before Winter woke up. With all her plans set, she fell into bed exhausted and was sleeping soundly minutes later.
She woke up at exactly 6, hurried through getting ready for her presentation. She needed to leave here by 7 that way she wouldn't see Winter. If there was something she knew about Winter, it was the fact Winter was not an early riser and everyday she wondered how Winter became a lawyer.
She entered the kitchen and made coffee and went into the room to get her bag and leave but she stopped in the parlour to drop the note she had written for Winter concisely expressing how grateful she was and goodbye.
She was almost through the door when she heard Winter's room door open, she contemplated waiting to tell her thank you or just leaving. She hadn't even made up her mind when Winter spoke up
"leaving already I see, you couldn't even have the decency to say thank you"
"Well, maybe if you made me dinner, I would have remembered that fact"Autumn answered rather bluntly.
"Yunno, you shouldn't be rude to me. Who knows you might forget to book a room again and need my help"Winter said
"Oh please! I didn't forget to book a room. I received the information terribly late and the rooms were fully booked"Autumn replied.
"Of course, of course whatever you say. You can leave now"Winter said.
With that, Autumn left her house and as she shut the door,Winter muttered under her breath "please, be safe Autumn, please".

ParanormalCompeting was everything we knew. We did much of it while growing up. It wasn't planned but each of us wanted acknowledgement, craved it even, as the best. Probably the reason for the bad blood and the decision to move to 4 different cities. Perhaps...
